    Uh, my car was parked, and the other car actually got the worst of it from what I heard. My car had been pushed forward 6 feet.

    And how does one "get off easy" when their car gets hit?

    The regular police won't do anything in this situation. They have bigger fish to fry. However, it appears the Karma police did their job.

    take pictures of the damage on your car asap. go to his house and take pictures of his damaged car asap. file a civil? small claims? lawsuit for the damages to your vehicle. go to court, win, hope he pays you!

    that's a good idea. if you can settle it out of court, that would make it much simpler.

    if you do go to court, file a case for judge judy or oen of those day time court shows, that would be classic. :cool:

    Well, we had someone go by the house this evening. The house apparently looked pretty abandoned, and if the car was there, it was in the garage. So, so far, that has been a dead end.
