You are so naive to think that Kim Jung will ever give up his nukes

Taking aim? It all depends on how you construe what it means to have repugnance for someone.

I don't think he has any nukes. Its probably why he came to the table.

True. It could be the good kind of repugnance.

I don't want him to fail it this. Nor am I b****ing. I see this as a simple negotiating tactic and I'm not concerned at all. But, I'm also not a big fan of all the sunshine the Admin is trying to blow up our asses (hat tip to heypartner) about how Trump is on the verge of solving the NK problem. Apart from my skepticism, I think Trump hurts his own negotiating position by talking up expectations.

Wow, talking about getting ahead of your skis.

Did Woods actually think just scheduling a summit was the end all and NK was just going to roll over?

I really would like to know why some are so desperate for Trump to get a win that they end up looking completely stupid when everything plays out.

If after the talks N. Korea de-nuclearizes and has peace with S. Korea, I'm all in favor of Trump getting the peace prize. I'll even be more impressed if N. Korea addresses a portion of their human rights violations.

Of course, that's a huge "if". I really do wish that it would happen though.

Shouldn't that peace prize go to Un for denuclearizing?

It's hard to support giving it to anyone with his human rights violations.

Time to set up the narrative of what does Trump want more: a Nobel Peace Prize or the continued presence John Bolton?

If N Korea actually denuclearizes which is highly doubtful, the prize should go to Moon.

No, but talking up expectations may turn out to be foolish or may not.

It’s certainly a possibility that Japan, China, and SK agree to live with NK’s nuclear capabilities while we huff and puff. Japan is certainly a wild card as I’d imagine they’d would want to publicly have nuclear capabilities as well.

Nope, that's why all of the Nobel prize stuff was hilarious.

NK has been doing this type of stuff since Clinton, yet a couple mean tweets by Trump was somehow the key to complete disarmament.

    Really?

Since no one should leave the field without some sort of prize... the people behind the Nobel Peace Prize have decided to award trump this...

They may still have to take that one away in case the meeting doesn't happen.
