I'm just going to make one point about the NoKo situation.

This has been a festering mess since 1953 - before most of us were born.

No president has tackled that situation - its just too toxic with both Russia and China being involved.

We've had 11 presidents over the span of this conflict and every one of them has kicked the proverbial can down the road.

Regardless of the eventual outcome - You have to give Trump credit for taking on an impossible task.

It's tilting windmills until you get China's full blessing for any lasting peace deal.

Everyone of them has not kicked the can down the road.

Clinton tried to engage and did some concrete things it did not work but he tried.

Other presidents have tried using sanctions.

I am not saying they have been effective or that I agree with them.

Trump deserves no more credit than any other president but at least with other presidents they did not make demonstrably false claims about what they achieved.

Rodman took on the impossible task and deserves the credit for opening dialogue if you feel the Trump/ Kim summits were a positive change.

One Ohio class submarine could take out N Korea in a couple minutes. N Korea just wants to get PAID.... again

    I had forgotten about Clinton's deal ....

I wouldnt argue against that - He did go make nice with KJU.

Then what with both China and Russia ? You think this mess has drug on since 1953 because of North Korea alone ?

This is a situation where military action is worst case scenario.

A NK sub could make most of the U.S. uninhabitable what's your point.

They should put Trump's peace prize in the NK intercontinental ballistic missile they are about to test and have it sent to one of Trump's golf course to pick up

I think some people here want to see nk use a nuke just to see Trump fail. It would make them happier.

Many more people would just like to see Trump use a nuke on the middle east

Were those the same people who wanted Trump to have verification of any 'agreements' reached rather than take NK at their word, which Trump did? Trump even (as usual) chose to believe the NK dictator over his own intelligence agencies.

Are the people who want the US to get nuked the same ones who were against the concessions Trump gave to Kim?

Today is the very first day of 2020, and I'm already certain that this is the dumbest post of the year.

Not before they turn Seoul into a sea of fire and probably fire off of a few missiles into Japan. Also a nuclear strike on NK would have fallout that blows into the PRC.
