Well what music would you like to have on Caucasian cultural day? German music? Polish music? Italian opera? Lets see if they could fill Reliant if they had a Polka concert. The AA community represents on their days and so do the Latinos. European cultures have things such as the Greek and Renaissance festival. Relax dude, everyone has their days and events. If you can't find occurrences of people celebrating the European culture here in Houston you need to get out from behind your computer and see what is going on in Houston.
How are they seperatist? please do tell? You know what pisses me off? All these Mexicanos who come here and don't speak english, overload the school systems, fly the mexican flag and worst of all root for the tri's when they play in the USA when they don't even live in Mexico anymore. I remember Rafa Marquez once say that they when they play in the U.S., they play for all the immigrants who are treated poorly here. Maybe if they had a chance to make a decent living in Mexico, they wouldn't be here!!!! It must suck to be a native Mexicano living in the U.S.. pobresitos.
What the hell is Tejano anyways? I have no problem with a boycott except the possible lack of Latino ACE at the Rodeo. They are trying to flext their political muscles as a group. Hope it works out, more likely is no one cares.
okay, everyone take a deep breath. Tejano day is one of the biggest draws for the rodeo every year. we're talking 70k crowds. if most in attendance want to hear tejeno, let them hear it. counterpoint the rodeo is only trying to give what they think maybe more popular with the mexican crowd.
Are you kidding? Separatists? The group name of NAACP implies the "Advancement for Colored People." LULAC stands for: League of United Latin American Citizens How is that not implying separation?
Wow. That's pretty well thought out there. You sound like someone who wants people to think Barack Hussein Obama is Muslim. I want you to show me where they espouse "cultural, ethnic and racial" separation. Please. Or is it just one or two of the three? Or is it just your delusional imagination? And yes, I'm implying your delusional.
I found the article on "Tejano" in wikipedia confusing, maybe too much information. The term seems to be interpreted in several different ways. I think I like "inhabitant of Texas"
YOUR (learn the correct usage of this word) idea and my idea of separation is evidently different. Do you think the NAACP is recruiting white members? Sure anyone can join. It would probably be illegal if it was only available to blacks. And, they will take money from everyone. If there was a NAAWP, do you think many blacks would join? Groups like the NAACP are nothing more than legal separation. If you think that's delusional maybe you're the one with a problem.
