i cant stand tejano music. norteno is good and all the modern stuff. but tejano is dead. it depresses me and frankly i was never very fond of the style.

 

While they are boycotting, i'll be watching alan jackson and rascall flatts

 

I'd like to boycott Rascal Flatts. Where's Montgomery Gentry?

 

Just to be clear, would this be akin to a bunch of Black folks boycotting the rodeo because there are no rappers at there?

Why do my people have to do this type of crap...No Tejano music is depriving you of learning about your culture...I'm sorry, but if you need this type of music to teach your kids about your heritage, you're in a sorry state of affairs...

whoa, settle down, the music you mentioned isn't even remotely related to Tejano or anything hispanic whatsoever. I would have to say that metal also falls into the "wack" category, as does old hippy rock.

 

Until we have some "Caucasian Holiday" or something specifically deemed for white people, this stuff will continue to enrage me.

Every race has something just for them except the white people. I didn't think "separate but equal" was legal according to the landmark case Brown v. Board of Education. But by God Hispanics and blacks have their separation and it's o.k.

I am sure the hispanic population could have their own "HISPANIC RODEO" and nothing would be done about it. For God sakes, the word Rodeo is a Spanish word.

I see what you're saying. I am never for community organizations who "tailor to [insert minority race or group here]". That's how you create division. I've been saying all along, white dudes need to have their "parties" on Galveston for fraternities and sororities, what not.

I hate the NAACP, the LULAC, and all those effin' separatist groups. I never give money to any of those folks. I am as enraged as you... you know what "race" I am...

 

Asians would complain about the ticket prices and the price of food.

 

I sat with RBD on the way back from Miami. Nice people.They young ladies were very pretty.
