Hispanic Basketball tournament (center and forward players needed)

    Me and my friends joined a hispanic tournament, but we are in need of a couple of big men, at least 6-2 in height with some decent basketball IQ. The games are on Aug. 21-22 and are held at Southeast Houston(Chavez High school and Ripley House). All the payments are covered.

    We already had some big men but they can't play and now were in desperate need of inside presence.

    6'2 is big for hispanics...we just don;t grow that big. I'm 6'1, but I can't really help you out. 1. I had shoulder surgery just under a month ago and I can't get my arms up very well, and 2. I live in Brownsville.

    It is hard to find tall hispanics. We got plenty of guards but no kind of big men. One of our guards played for Florida. st.

    Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever played with a Hispanic big man in my life.

    You might be in trouble.

    Maybe you should pull a Soul Man.

    I am not hispanic, but I could pass for hispanic. I am not exactly 6'2'', but I play hard, and could probably get more rebounds than the players that will be out there.

    im 5'10''-11''and colombian.................but im only 16...........i can shoot the rock...........and im willing to guard anybody..........i got some mexican friends one thats my height and the other around 6'........there in there early 20's and are pretty good.......stopherchris3@hotmail.com

    Could you give us more info on this tournament...I'm about 6'2'' 220lbs and I know how to play but just need some more info...

    Other information:

    1. Guaranteed 2 games (lose 2 games and we are out of the tourn.)
    2. 14 teams are competing
    3. Our first game is at 9 a.m. Saturday
    4. There is no consolation
