This years Rockets, 95 pts per game. Last years Rockets, 97 pts per game. Let let Adleman stick to defense, and bring in JVG as the offensive coordinator
Yes I agree Rafer needs to shoot more! Actually I wouldn't be against hiring JVG back to announce the games. But only on Radio.
Don't be silly. Jeff would never want to come back unless he was able to lead the team. Hypothetically if it were to happen, I foresee him and Rick butting heads and unable to agree on things. You can't have two drivers. - Sushimaster
Hey Oldman, how do you like this new uptempo offense? Exciting right? Did you see that one time were Yao Ming tried that over the head pass? that was awesome. JVG would have never allowed that. And Scola, the best european man in the post is now purely a high post pansy What the hell though, at least the Rockets will have more sellouts this year than last. Phoenix suns style court. New Uptempo offense. It's time.
Glad people are beginning to see the light that it's not all JVG's fault. Ultimately that responsibility falls on its players. I can't fault Adelman either. You're given a personnel that's really not that athletic and expected to run a fastbreak uptempo team with a healthy blend of half court thrown in the mix. The only upside is the Kings weren't exactly full of athletic phenoms in their heyday. I think the Rockets are having a difficult time getting acclimated to Adelman's system is all. It seems like there's mixes of JVG's offense thrown in with Adelman's offensive set and it just seems like such an awkward transition.
from the looks of it around here, it seems that Van Gundy is still on the Rockets, considering there are more threads and posts about him than almost anything else...
