Point taken. I'm certainly not his target listener so I'm not the best judge of his stuff. I like hip-hop but typically nothing near his ball-park. And I don't mean that in a back-handed music snob way, just different strokes for different folks. I guess my point is I don't feel any of his other stuff stands out from the rest of the crowd.

50 cent is beefing with everybody just because his new album is coming out. He's been dissing Lil Wayne recently and Wayne is recording a diss track at the moment. I think his beefs are wayyyyy too played out and nobody really cares anymore. BTW, 50's new song "Ayo Technology" with Justin Timberlake is a really catchy song. Well, I guess any JT song is catchy as hell with a great club beat.

It's easy to come out here and say "everything he does is crap" but the dude sells millions and millions of records. If you are assuming that every single one of those millions is an idiot, then you're clearly not capable of discussing these things. I love 50 cent's music. I'll say I was dissapointed with the last few (piggy bank, amusement park, straight to the bank) but I love "I get Money". It just really hypes me up, and I listen to music for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of reasons... one of them being, its ability to hype me up. Seriously, Kanye isn't gonna sell more than 50. It's just not gonna happen. Looking at the numbers their albums have sold previously, I just don't see it happening. This just serves to increase BOTH their sales #s IMO.
Pretty much agree with what you said. Kanye and 50 have different groups/ followings / fans. 50 makes better club music/party tracks and Kanye is just a more gifted lyricist simple as that. I think both albums will have good numbers but 50 is going to sell more.
50 fell off after his first album. He came in the game dissin Ja Rule for singing(though the beef goes far deeper) and now doing the same thing. In the next attempt he disses Jadakiss and Nas, who are both millenniums ahead of him in lyricism. He was brutally raped by Jadakiss and let up afterwards. I personally don't care for anything he put out after 2003. Kanye always puts out amazing stuff. 50 doesnt have anything close to "Never Let Me Down" or "We Major". I'm hoping Kanye outsells him. He should, but mainstream America really sucks. Lyricism is out of music, all you gotta do is Crank dat _________ and there's an instant hit.

the new track of Kanye's "Stronger" is the business!! Just awesome. the first track dropped Bittersweet - with John Mayer- possibly even better. the other one out there "can't tell me nothing" is a grower. West in concert is amazing. I went to a 2 and a half hour set when he was in Melbourne last year. 50 is nothing but a jackoff 2pac wannabe... Go Kanye.
