I liked how back then the hip hop artists were diverse yet the total "hip hop directory" wasnt as huge as it today. Now there's 204 million rappers. Back then if you liked rap, turn on MTV and Rap City. There's your selection. Now there's all this "unsigned hype" -some guy who straight "murders it" on some mixtape circulating in the hip hip underground. Who was the Queens county freestyle champion in 2003 but never got his recognition. Now he's teaming up with cutting edge DJ from Denmark supplying the beats. I just dont have time for all that *****
