Rafer will be fine now that we have 3 superstars. Rafer runs the team fine and now he does not need to be a scorer. We are fine with:
Rafer, TMac, Artest, Scola and Yao

I think that's too much to give up for Hinrich as it now stands. Remember that Rafer will take a lesser role in the offense with Artest in the lineup. His >40% shooting doesn't sting as bad if he takes fewer shots per game.

WTH. Hinrich isnt even that much better than alston. I wouldnt trade battier alone for him let alone adding brooks and francis

1, Battier won't be traded unless Artest signs an extension
2, Battier is worth more than Hinrich.

    Tmac/Battier/Head/Novak
    Artest/Battier/Barry
    Scola/Laudry/Hayes

Agreed, Hinrich is a glorified Luther Head.

As many people said in the
    Rockets-Jazz Series

The reason why the rockets lost the 1st 2 games is because they had no floor general, Bobby Jackson was not one he might have ran the offense, but T-Mac had the ball in his hands a lot, that wore him out each 2 games in the 4th quarter.

    No reason to get Hinrich.

Consider the salaries they will get ... Alston should be a better choice for HOU !

    I don't want Hinrich.

I'd rather have Alston for this team.

Hinrich is a great addition for Rocks,but..
Since Artest comes and we possibly re-sign Ron a year later,Hinrich's contract is a little too big.

Guys, if we keep Battier, then even if Artest blows up, we'd still be where we were last year. Which was, a 55 win team.

    Battier/Head for Jason Terry

Not that Cuban would do this after the Artest trade but it would definitely be a deal worth considering.

    No way we get Kirk.

For one, we don't really have what chicago would want.

For two, if they were interested in what we had it would destroy our bench.

We are more than fine with what we have and should count our blessings.
