Why should a majority of non Hindu, be subjected to a prayer like that? Is it a PC display? Just forget prayer in a public arena like that altogether. Those people didn't gather there to pray, so leave it out.
As the US gets more and more diverse, this crap is popping up everywhere. Religion in general is getting a bad rap.

For every one minority prayer, they could hold 10 "regular" prayers. The reaction brings out the hypocritical justifications of those who want to put God back into government, such as the 10 Commandments or public school prayer sessions.

That's fine, but why are you complaining now, why not complain about the daily prayer that's been going on for years and years? Now that once a Hindu says the prayer it's diversity crap?

Why should I have to listen to Christian prayer all the time throughout my life? I don't complain about it...and I've had to listen 100's of times. Now you can't listen to a Hindu prayer just once?

Absolutely. Fundamentalism of all sorts needs to be rejected by the mainstream of any ideology.
