Are We Overlooking Hilton Armstrong? Armstrong has a reputation as a swatter. Will Morey keep him? Also, Armstrong didn't shine in New Orleans. Will he be a player in Adelman's system? I'm not that familiar with him. Thoughts?
His offense is weak, so I seriously doubt he puts up any kind of numbers here. He's not even good at finding open spots on the floor, like Chuck is. Defensively, he gives the Rockets good size and an ability to block shots, but that's about it.
Hornets fans online seem to share the opinion among themselves that Armstrong's one of those players whose heart isn't in the game.
I know the Hornets fans were pretty happy when he was shipped out for nothing to help get them under LT, so yeah, no one useful. Still, he's an expiring.
Very helpful. Perhaps Adelman can work a coaching and motivational miracle while Calvin Murphy teaches him the art of free throw shooting. Chuck has done better than I expected, but we still desperately need a center. So I'll be happy with him under the theory "any port in a storm."
He's an okay third-string center. Considering that our only true center this year is David Andersen, I could see him getting a handful of minutes, but there's no way we re-sign him unless he somehow explodes in Adelman's system.
No, he would be what you call a throw in. Sergio Rodriguez if anyone is being overlooked. If we do keep him, he would become a nice back up combo guard. Either way Armstrong won't be here after this season, so the answer would be no.
Who's Armstrong? No clue till yesterday's news that told me Hilton Armstrong was sent in a package for Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey.
do we even care about dis stupid convicted felon scrub???????? fW(#$U@$(@*$ r****ded trade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
