    Obama - McCain 2008
    69,498,516 - 59,948,323

    Obama - Romney 2012
    65,915,795 - 60,933,504

    Clinton - Trump 2016
    59,938,290 - 59,704,886

The Republicans who voted for McCain, voted for Romney, voted for Trump.

Please change your narrative to match the facts.

    Carry on.

That's doesn't break it down by groups. Voter turnout was significantly lower than the last election with democrats being the ones who sat out this time.

    Since you edited your response.

That's the thing, white voters who are were either independents or blue dogs in the Midwest voted differently in 2016. What mattered most in this election is where the votes came from geographically.

Like you said Democrats didn't show up to vote. That's why they blew the election. That's the bottom line.

Democratic voters didn't show up in the right places and white Trump voters showed up in the right places to be more exact.

Yep, in this silly electoral college, location matters. My democrat vote in Texas means far less than if I lived in Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, or Wisconsin.
