Hillary Clinton is the most prominent Democrat in the country. We already know what the most prominent Republican thinks about this. We've heard from Daschle, Gephardt, etc. Yet Hillary is silent. Nobody knows her position (except for this military manufacturer, on the eve of her visit there). You really think that's the same as Kay Bailey Hutchinson?

I guess this doesn't mean anything as to how Clinton felt about a possible war.

I think it's clear that she had concerns about how the administration was handling the information they have or didn't have, regardless of her feelings about a possible war in Iraq. Many people feel that way. I support the possible war in Iraq, and I have for a long time now, but I've had the same reservations. I'm guessing there are quite a few people in Washington, especially Democrats (who, as you are predictably ignoring, Sen. Clinton is apparently at some odds with), who feel, or have felt the same exact way.

You and johnheath are just letting your anti-Clinton biases shine through. Hell, if she decided one day that abortion was immoral, and wanted it outlawed, you'd find some flaw with it. I suggest you, for one, probably need to see someone about that (and not Bill O'Reilly), it's getting quite ridiculous.

Go ahead and argue that Hillary Clinton's political decisions are guided by her morals if you want. You are only kidding yourself. This woman was hugging Arafat's wife after Ms. Arafat gave a speech alledging that Jews were poisoning Arab children, and then courting New York Jewish groups the next month.

Hillary knows that she can only influence the world around her if she has power, so all of her decisions are based on her larger ambitions. Remember, she has one of the highest negative polling numbers of any politician, so she cannot afford to take many unpopular stances. If Hillary ever adopted the desired platform of her actual constituents in New York, she would not have a prayer in a national election.

She has been second guessing, criticizing, and in some cases lying about Bush for the last 6 months- but she is smart to support him now. This war will happen very soon, and we will win quickly with a minimum loss of life. When the people of Iraq are dancing in the streets, those politicians who supported Bush will look very good. Lieberman and Clinton will be about the only potential Democratic candidates that look "presidential".

Anyway, if Hillary became pro-life tomorrow, I would not be surprised. Her opinion is dictated by who is listening to her presently and the polls.

So, you're saying you'll never believe her, no matter what she says or does?

LOL, we won't agree on this.

Like her husband, she is a masterful politician- probably the best the Democrats have to offer. I view her actions in this context.

    Have a good morning.

Hmmm... should I look up hypocrite, or partisan... hmmm... oh, I know!

    hair banger sexist

    n. 1. a. A boy who believes only men should have long hair... errr... wear pants. Is innately afraid of women that have opinions. b. Used to wear a diamond stud earring oh so carefully in the left ear, and hair band t-shirts with the sleeves ripped out. Now solicits world views from morons like O'Reilly and Limbaugh.

TheFreak, I don't want to be naive, but please explain to me how the chaos in the democratic party has anything to do with your hatred of Hillary. Just acknowledge that she is and has always been a target of the republicans (oh yeah, didn't you once insult the daughter too?).

You guys just like your first-b****es to bake the cookies and stay out of the men's arena. If they start voicing their opinions, what's next? Do you think they will start talking about the size of our members and our prowess? :( The horror! We gotta keep those b****es down!!!

I guess that was another example of you not 'indicting the character' of those you disagree with. As usual, you're all class.

Funny. Someone talking about class who posts something like this:

After laughing at the "human shields" who left Iraq.

Come on, liberals are sleazy Hollywood types, conservatives have class, we all know that. I find it funny that so many people hate Hillary because she's active in government, and she stood by her husband. What a b***h:rolleyes:

TheFreak, please provide a link to a political post in which you haven't insulted someone's character. Really, do you pose yourself as an example? I don't know if you are self actualized, but certainly you know that your entire gig is based upon simplistic Fox-isms where sound bytes equate to reason. Barbs like the definition of 'naive', yeah, pure class.

If the search fn isn't currently working, and you are unable to find a post two years ago in which you didn't libel someone from the left, maybe you could return to my original query where you illustrate that all of the powerful Senators are "fighting the fight". Since I don't know of many Senators that have hung themselves around the issue with Iraq, maybe I should just assume that you're one of those classy hypocrites that is obsessed with deconstructing Hillary, or her daughter.

Oh yeah, and obviously you're the only that one that can ever make a joke. Classy boy.
