To me, it's like a trip to absolute ****ing bizarro alternative universe. You know, when she's the first lady, hardly anyone says **** about her. Then, she's senator. Across-the-board agreement that she did a good job- by Repubs and Dems. Then, she's secretary of state. Again, nary a peep from anyone about her being a terrible SoS. Again, compliments from both sides. Then, she decides to run for president. Enter Benghazi (WITF is everyone pinning this on her and not saying **** about Obama's role?). Enter Emailgate. Enter..well, all the numerous controversies they bring up about the Clintons, none of which stick. So, we're supposed to believe that they've been breaking the law for 20+ years but they ALWAYS get away with it. So, we're supposed to believe that Benghazi was ALL Clinton's fault, that it had nothing to do with Republicans refusing additional funding for Benghazi, and that this tragedy outweighed the multiple embassy attacks under Bush, as well as 9-11 (b/c more time has been spent on Benghazi hearings than 9-11). And every single ****ing time, every time, nothing on Clinton. The ONE controversy in which Clinton actually did mess up- and even we don't know all the details b/c we don't know what classified information was sent- the ONE controversy, which resulted in zero prosecution- and that is the only truly legit beef. They can't get over the fact that they haven't had a candidate with a realistic chance to win the White House since 2004.
Again, the correct version: Clinton voted for the Iraq War. You turds supported the Iraq War, so don't pull this revisionist history crap and pretend as if you didn't support Bush' decision in 2002. We're not buying it. Voting for the Iraq War, BTW, is not the same as promulgating it and sustaining it until it was well past time to do so. As well as presenting specious evidence to do so in the first place. They're so laughable. They wouldn't say **** about Reagan and the Iran-Contra affair (or how about the Marines in Lebanon), nor 9-11- but when it comes to Benghazi, now all of a sudden they're outraged? BULL****, BULL****, BULL****, AND MORE BULL****. It's the worst kind of selective, partisan and deceitful outrage. These are the same type of stupid mother****ers who would say about Obama's decision to raid the compound and kill Osama "Well, any President would have done the same thing" or "Why don't we give the military the real credit???"- and if the mission would have failed, like Carter's attempted clandestine mission to free the Iran hostages- he would have been excoriated by these same people. It's a sickness that Big Tess and others of his ilk suffer from. Sad.
Hillary Clinton will be a terrific President of the United States. I can't wait to vote for her, but I must. Election day can't come soon enough. I'm be voting for every Democrat on the ballot. Vote for a young and progressive Supreme Court! Vote for Hillary Clinton!
Of course you are a straight ticket democrat. You would be voting for Trump if he had a D by his name.
The problem with this line of argument is that those of us with the D Party didn't nominate Trump and will never nominate Trump. There is a very good reason why you people's party is where Trump decided to seek the nomination. He wouldn't have gotten more than single digits running in our primaries. There is no "Democratic Trump," there is only Trump. And he is you people's nominee.
I am going to vote for Clinton but man, you know Republicans are just going to spend 4 years investigating her non-stop and nothing is going to get done.
And you would be wrong. I wouldn't vote for Donald Trump if he were running for Mayor of Austin, much less President of the United States. The man is a liar, a thief, and as corrupt as the day is long. You haven't been around long enough to remember just how conservative Democratic politicians could be in Texas. Loads of Republicans voted for them because they liked them and several retained their seats in Congress, until Tom DeLay gerrymandered them out of their districts and out of office. As for voting a straight ticket, sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. This year, I am. The GOP has let this monster run for President. The Republican Party is political party that needs to be crushed at the ballot box in order to find its way back to sanity. Beaten so badly that your Republican Party will tear itself apart and put itself back together again as a political party actually worth something. It used to be, and I used to vote for the occasional Republican. There are still a few decent Republicans around. I know more than a few, in fact. Just don't expect to find many in Congress or the Texas Legislature these days, where a far-right, exclusive and extremist leadership holds sway. The moderates are busy hiding under a blanket in fear of the "tea party" wing of the GOP spending a lot of money running a lunatic against them in the primary. Very well said, Carl. Kudos coming your way.
Lemme get this straight: Democratic party is "rigged". Republican party isn't rigged, but has been commandeered by bigots, lunatics and morons. That pretty much leaves responsibility and credibility outside the whiners' hands.
Hillary was physically attractive and doesn't get the credit for it. **** you all for dehumanizing her.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QQIO7Hsd71o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> One wrong move would be to vote for Trump...
Hillary Clinton news roundup: Fortune: Meg Whitman Is 'All In' for Hillary Clinton Meg Whitman, chief executive of Hewlett Packard Enterprise , told a group of Denver business people that she will not only vote for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton but will contribute money to her and recruit others to do the same. ------- NY Times: Hillary Clinton Piles Up Research in Bid to Needle Donald Trump at First Debate Hillary Clinton’s advisers are talking to Donald J. Trump’s ghostwriter of “The Art of the Deal,” seeking insights about Mr. Trump’s deepest insecurities as they devise strategies to needle and undermine him in four weeks at the first presidential debate, the most anticipated in a generation. Her team is also getting advice from psychology experts to help create a personality profile of Mr. Trump to gauge how he may respond to attacks and deal with a woman as his sole adversary on the debate stage. They are undertaking a forensic-style analysis of Mr. Trump’s performances in the Republican primary debates, cataloging strengths and weaknesses as well as trigger points that caused him to lash out in less-than-presidential ways. ------- CBS: FBI will release Hillary Clinton interview notes as early as Wednesday Sources tell CBS News that soon, perhaps as early as Wednesday, the FBI will publicly release some of the material it recently handed over to Congress regarding the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she served as secretary of state. The material will include portions of the FBI’s interview notes with Clinton, as well as with some of the other people interviewed during the course of the investigation. It is not clear which interviews will be released, and the documents are expected to have portions redacted. ------------- Clinton is clearly staying out of the spotlight and letting the faux-troversies and controversies run their course while giving Trump plenty of rope to hang himself. Meanwhile, her lead in the polls has diminished and here fivethityeight forecast has her with a 77% chance to win (down from 81%). The weirdness of this election, for me, is how much of it is a referendum on Trump, which is not what Trump's team needs. However, he is so egomaniacal that he keeps bringing attention to himself and not his ideas/polices (which he doesn't have). At some point, we may actually get to discussing policy and ideas, then there will be more to say about the Clinton campaign.
Get over yourself. Hillary is your candidate. If you would stoop low enough to vote for Hillary, you'd vote for Trump
Please quote me where I have stated elections are rigged? You are generalizing that I am a Republican. I thought liberals didn't like people who generalized? Stereotypes are bad, mmm mmkay....even when race isnt involved.
I chuckled when I saw this yesterday... DO some of yall even know why this happens? She was the chief overseer of rigged Democratic primary...And the wonderful citizens of Florida...believes she needs more time. Nope...not rigged at all... http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/florida-congressional-23-primary-wasserman-schultz-canova
