I was listening to some stuff from Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves today, and Geddy does have a high voice. It's hard to compare some of the guys mentioned, however, because they're so different. I've always admired the voices of Halford, Dickinson, and Tate--the range of each of them has is remarkable.
The singer from King Diamond (who looked like a third rate Gene Simmons..which is saying something) sang unbelievably high. I think only speed metal dogs could hear him. Also, Rob Halford from Judas Priest, if he hasn't been mentioned by the Metal cognosciti, or whatever.
From the Pavement song "Stereo": What about the voice of Geddy Lee? How did it get so high? I wonder if he talks like an ordinary guy. I know him, and he does. Then you're my fact-checkin' cuz.
