With Chris Paul and James Harden, I would take Melo but if it was last year I would go with KL without question. We need versatility and I think Melo can play multiple positions offensively and won't be a disaster defensively on switches with his quickness, if he commits to it which I think CP3 can light a fire.

On that note, I would still get a defensive athletic Big that can offset defensive liabilities of Melo and Harden.

Thanks, brotha! I'm doing it all in strides...some days I accomplish more than others. Nights are good, mornings are wicked. But, when I hit that court and work with guys, or when I get to sit down in meetings with 'Bart/Priority, I forget the health crap.

Oddly, when I sit down and write my personal stuff, I start to feel everything in my body. Perhaps, it's the honesty of expression in our most intimate thoughts that exhausts the mind.

I've always had multiple projects going on, and luckily, I've been able to schedule my career to pursue different interests. Working with Dan is the priority until we shut it down completely (soon come), and I absolutely love being with Priority Sports. Mark has taught me a great deal.

Publishing my memoir is my own nifty project because it's a different battle for me. I've been published before in different sources/formats, but writing from the depth of your soul--without apologies--is a crazy experience. I've learned some things about myself that I never knew until I put the pen to paper. Writing allows you to reintroduce yourself to your inner child, past teenager, college party boy and over-analytical Capricorn with OCD. ;)

Bill Russell in his prime wouldn't offset the defensive liabilities of James Harden and Carmelo Anthony.

IGreat update as always. I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised you would give up Capela to get Kevin Love knowing that Love is a major defensive liability against Golden State.

Fair point, but I'm betting on DM bringing in better rim protection. We had very little this year. There are some guys out there (for cheaper deals) who can protect the paint better than our Kid Capela. I love his youth, but I don't see him ever being a force. I just don't...I hope I'm wrong.

Kevin Love is underrated. Just look at Minny clips. Cleveland forced him to reinvent his game in ways that were not necessary. I miss that Kevin Love, and I think he still exists. That post game is still there, but Cleveland turned him into a spectator.

damn. but cushioning the blow was the $30 million insanity payday. Then again, we gave Ryan Anderson $20 mil, which is almost an equivalent desperation move.

People forget how much of a monster Love was on the boards. You get a guy motivated to prove he can be his former self again you really have a great nucleus of Harden/Love/Paul.
