I hate to lose Capella but ya. Millsap will have to play center. But with CP3 it's gamble everything or go home

You have little basketball intelligence. It is really quite amusing. :D

Minny is offering OKC's 2018 if someone takes Aldrich's 7M contract.

    Trade some NGs for that!

Then use that pick (probably 18-24 range) in a deal for Melo or sign and trade for Milsap!

Could keep Aldrich as a 3rd center who only sees the day of light if Nene is resting or an injury happens. Good to have 7 footers in reserves.

Aldrich has very limited value in the modern NBA. Anderson still has value.

Aldrich earns about 1/3 of Anderson's contract and is only guaranteed for 2 million next year.

PJ Tucker+Nene+Chris Paul is better than Chris Paul for the same price.

Isn't that too much to give up though? Isn't Aldrich decent as fourth/fifth big, and he's basically expiring...

Im happy if we keep anderson. You guys are just fixated on getting another star. Millsap would have been nice, but he is getting up there in age and does not shoot nearly as well.

If all anderson cost us this off season was melo or millsap then im not losing any sleep.

if it was too much, the deal would have already be done before we even learned of the rumours. Just a phonecall "hey Suns, hey Sac.."

Sacramento right now has 21 mil in space at least till July 8, and is taking meetings with Vince Carter.
It's obvious that a) there's strong competition on dumping contracts b) Sacramento is more interested in first signing some vets.

Maybe more likely Suns make a dumping trade first.

Im over it. Let the man get some experience. Also, the more options we have (paul, harden) the less teams can focus on taking away one player (harden) and shutting down our shooters. Teams stayed tight on anderson in the playoffs. He started off cold and could never get it going in the 11 games he had 5, maybe 6 bad games. Get over it. We also won 4 of those games.

Trust me, it would be nice to get A better player but the players that I see we missed out on because of him, Milsap and possibly Carmelo Anthony...I'm not gonna lose any sleep if thats it.

I just don't understand why clutch fan just so hard on this guy. I've seen it many times before. anytime there's a max player on the team, everyone here expects that player to be a superstar every single game. Those expectations were valid in the old NBA, but this is the new NBA and guys are going to get paid like superstars who are not superstars. Anderson provides a niche, he is an elite shooting big man. He is the best shooting big man in the NBA.
