Why Rocky is not racist: 1) Apollo beats Rocky in the first film. 2) In Rocky III, Apollo's quick footed fighting style is portrayed as superior to Rocky's stop the punch with my face-style. 3) The preview for Rocky IV said "He (meaning Rocky) could save his best friend's (meaning Apollo) life." If Rocky is racist, why would he (or the filmmakers) make his best friend black? 4) The biggest loser in all the films is Pauly, who is white. Pulp Fiction (in particular the character that Quentin Tarantino played) did have alot of racially derogatory terms in it. But I wouldn't say that African Americans came off worse than any of the other ethnicities in the movie. Apollo - if you're going to joke, use a or a . It's hard to spot sarcasm on a message board.

omg that is exactly what i thought wehn reading this. here goes, to the best of my memory. star wars is a racist movie. you got a white guy, the good guy. and the baddest guy in the universe is a black man. eventually, the white man kills the black man, then takes off the black mans shell only to find a white man. you see, this is suggesting that all black men really want to be white inside. ugh, that was bad...but i saw that movie like two years ago cant really remember most of it...
