[Hickory-High] Did J.R's Boneheaded Shot Hurt the Knicks?

    The last play after the Brooks free throws were bad too. Dribbled into traffic with no where to go, then pass it to Beno Udrih for him to take that shot? 2 horrible plays.

    Yeah, but in general basketball sense, that shot should have never been taken whatsoever.

    1) If he had made it, we would have got the ball back with 17 seconds left on the clock with two timeouts left.
    2) If he held the ball for Melo to make the last shot, they would have either won the game or go to overtime.

    I think we would still take the first option over the second to have an opportunity to extend the game and try to win it.

    Is it only me ... guys like JR Smith, Crawford are more likely to make acrobatic last second shot than wide open. A wide open shot actually was not a good shot for JR.

    I watched that game last week again on YouTube and it was still the most amazing unpredictable moment like it was several moons ago.

    Was it a shot marked by destiny or destiny marked with the shot?
