Please draft Michael Floyd if he's there when you pick after signing Malcom Floyd in the off-season.

Michael Floyd most likely won't be there the Texans are on the clock, but Kendall Wright most likely will be. Wright whould finally give the Texans that deep threat playmaker that would compliment Andre Johnson nicely. Wright remindes me alot of Mike Wallace of the Steelers who is blazing fast and has decent hands.

That will do as well, and I meant Vincent Jackson. He's a FA next year.

Johnson, Jackson, and Wright would be hell to cover.

Have to make tough choices to make the overall team better. Paying Mario 16M is not going to make this team better when there are issues at CB, OL, and WR. Not too mention that Foster needs to get paid.

It is true that our defense has done great without Mario but to say that we don't miss him on our defense is false. When he is on the field he brings that domaniant presence that no one else on our defense brings though Watt, Reed and Barwin are all great. I'm just worried that once Mario leaves who will be that domaniant force that requires a double team every time.

The guys you just mentioned plus Cushing. It's why the Texans have one of the Top front 7(s) in the NFL. I'm all for re-signing Mario, but not at the expense of not improving the secondary, the WR group, and better backup OL.

Plus, Mario has been injured 2 straight years, and everyone wrote off his dip in production in 2009 to injuries as well.

I just have a feeling that the Texans won't part with Mario or Arian and continue to fill their needs through the draft.

the shelf lives of players are so short in the NFL, its the only effective way to build a team.

its a deep draft at WR this year, so its hard to justify overpaying a free agent at that position. outside of the first round talent, you have a guy like Broyles who is going to be available as late as the 3rd round due to injury.

I'd love to get our hands on Kendall Wright. I think it'd be best to get a guy that compliments AJ. Andre's got the height and size to be a matchup nightmare even when his speed inevitably starts to give way. Putting a pure speedster opposite him should be top priority. With Walter and OD underneath, our passing scheme is dependent on a deep threat pulling away a safety.
