And the douceyness continues. You know this board is for HOUSTON fans, not Dallas fans, right? Couldn't have said it better myself. P.S. - Rangers and the fair-weather fans can suck a bag of d!(ks.
Well, I (and others as well) obviously couldn't tell, since you seem to be all over the Rangers jock, and they're a DALLAS team.
I only care in so much as you're taunting with the whole, "you should OF learned that in college thing." if you're gonna throw out that kind of taunt, you should probably get the grammar correct. i also threw it out because the douche level is so ridiculously high with these arguments. We're at Douche-con 3 right now.
They're a north Texas team. Not Dallas team. Dallas doesn't have a baseball team and they've never been in Dallas. Hence the name Texas Rangers.
What station broadcasts their home games? FS Dallas Where are the fortune 500 companies that buy the ads and suites at the ballpark based? Dallas Where will the parade be if they win a World Series? Dallas Would the "area" still have a team if a city the size of Dallas didn't exist? No. At first I though this was just a simple misunderstanding, but your ignorance in all of this is now becoming a tad borderline. Are Dallas/N. Texas people unable to understand concepts such as these? If so, looks like I overestimated the intellegence level of the region again... which wasn't all that high in my opinion to begin with.
Fox SW. No such thing as Fox Dallas. IF they win the World Series the parade will be in Arlington. Where they play. And the majors ads at the ballpark are Dr. Pepper (Waco), Southwest Air (Houston), Budweiser (St. Louis) and Ozarka (Irving). None of those major sponsors are in Dallas.
Dr. Pepper-Snapple is headquartered in Plano. Southwest Air is headquartered at Love Field in Dallas. Fox Sports Soutwest is headquartered in Dallas. And if the Rangers' Budweiser sponsorship is anything like the Astros', it's not AB corporate in STL that actually pays for it, it's the local/regional brewery/distributor(s). You're really being intentionally obtuse here, and I'm sure you're about to tell me that Plano & Irving really aren't "Dallas". And I would just about guarandamntee you their victory parade, satan willing, will be held in Dallas.
I know this started out with Astros undertones, but it no longer is. If you wanna talk Rangers (all one of you) go do it where appropriate.
