Um...they put their relationship on this board and one of THEM started this thread. It isn't like random posters started up a "HEY I HEAR MOES AND FINALS ARE BREAKING UP!" thread. If she (and/or) Moes wants this private and doesn't want this board to discuss it, one of them should say it. And yes, you putting your self righteous nose into whatever thread you pick to chastise the board is attention seeking.
King Cheetah started this thread, not moes, and not finals. I am not seeking attention at all, I am trying to say that there are people involved that may not want that attention. Do you understand the difference? As for Moes, I hope he is doing ok too, and respect his wishes to talk it out in his thread. This one however, was a poor joke at both of their expense....IMO. You are right, it was started by Kcheetah, my mistake. I really doubt Finals is offended by this thread. This is the Clutchfans BBS OPEN FORUM. If a thread like this offends her I bet she would have left this place a long time ago. It's harmless. Exactly. You may be right and you may be wrong. If she came in here and said, so, I would concur, but don't you find it odd that she has not posted in this thread? Just because you post on this BBS, does not mean everyone wants their personal business plastered all over the web. That is the common misconception on here about me, not the time or place to discuss it though. This thread should be locked unless Finals is ok with it. IMO. DD

Go to the breaking up is hard to do thread and tell Moes that he is a stupid baby and shouldn't post personal stuff. All Kingcheetah did was make a lighthearted thread jokingly flirting with Finals. Seems to me that your self righteous anger is misplaced. This thread did nothing to put Finalsbound's personal life out there, it was her husband (?) starting a thread telling the world about the situation that did that. Go chastise him and let the rest of the BBS have a good time on this message board.
^this Considering I've known and lived with both of them for a good deal of time, and have hung out with them for the better part of...3+ years now? I'm in full agreement of what justtxyank said. Their lives have been posted all over the board for the past 4 years now, and both derek and shannon are outspoken enough to say when something has gone too far. It's part of the openness of the board, this thread isn't going to stop just because you want it to. Now if Derek had come out and said "This is what happened, here's why it happened, and that's the end of that, I don't want to hear about it anymore" then I'd be complaining in this thread right along side you. The "protect the innocent princess" act that goes on this board, as well as elsewhere on the interwebs, is a bit played out. They're both adults, I'm sure they're both having a hard time with this, and they're both dealing with it. But this thread is harmless in the grand scheme of things. So, instead drawing more attention to yourself, how about you just let the thread run its course...?
I wonder if he's the type that tries to stop a girl from leaving with his boy at because she got too wasted at the bar and he worries about potential legal action the next day?
i don't mind the thread. seriously, i appreciate the kind words and i know derek does too. it's simultaneously awesome and maddening that my life is intertwined with clutchfans so much...and has been since early '06. when i think about all the people i probably won't see now, it makes me sad. i hope i can still be a part of things sometimes. ah, life is just filled with these cycles...you find joy, you make memories, you move on. you can't do much about hurt feelings, because it seems like time is the only catalyst for healing. this week has been surreal, but it's for the best. thanks again for the jokes and banter, it lightens the load. :]
