Difference now is he has a 2nd superstar and we now have luc and tucker instead of dekker and harrell

harden needs to play less minutes, handle the ball less and to take games off

Honestly, fools in this thread are signature quote worthy.

    Let me ask you:
    • Do the Thunder trust Westbrook after the 3-1 choke?
    • Does anyone trust Durant without the Warriors, also a 3-1 choke artist?
    • Do the Pelicans trust Davis who has never won a single playoff game?
    • Do the Wizards trust Wall after so many playoff chokes?
    • Do the Raptors trust Lowry and DeRozan?
    • What about Paul George and his failures in Indianapolis?

Why is it that Harden must always be discredited for his playoff struggles while all these other superstars get a free pass?

In the 6 years since Harden has been in Houston, only LeBron's teams, Spurs, and Warriors have lived up to their potential in the playoffs. We've seen the two superstar MVP led Thunder choke a 3-1 lead, 60-win Hawks dwindle into a lottery tanker, and all the above mentioned playoff failures.

Again, why only pick on Harden when the rest of the NBA top 10-15 players list is littered with playoff failures?

Stupid thread that continues to perpetuate straight up lies that both Harden and CP3 have been terrible post season performers. I'm not going to do the work for you but go check the facts and you will find out you are embarrassingly wrong. If you think I'm wrong then you are a water cooler talking head sports trash fan and you should slap yourself and delete your account.

    N A R R A T I V E S

Ever notice how NO-ONE talks about MJ losing to the Magic in the ECF?!?! MJ had has chance at Hakeem and the Rox but he blew it but if you listen to the moronic sports pundits and it's almost like this actual sports historical event never happened.

    this.
replace steph with harden in 15 or kd in 17 and gsw still champs with harden as their best player.

if harden stayed in okc or traded to lakers or cavs or knicks or boston or spurs he'll be a champion now.

Morey & the rockets org never built a finals quality team around him until now. no other 1 superstar could have single handedly carried the rockets to a championship.

blame morey. even morey admits it that's why he begged harden to stay and gave him a max extension.
blame miami for offering bosh the max even after lebron left. blame dwightmare for being a diva. blame KD for not even giving rockets an interview. blame horford for choosing boston over us. etc.

lots of LOFs (lin and lamb), parsons dbags, dwight divas, klay fans, mavs trolls, etc here

I "trust" Harden in the playoffs because the load on his shoulders has been lightened. We're not in danger of losing ground every time he leaves the floor. CP3 only has to be "the man" for about 15 mins a game, play very well for another 10, and Harden can just be his MVP self (and expend more on defense.)

The narrative about him as a playoff loser is somewhat unfair, but on the other hand, some of his playoff exits have been truly historically bad +10 TO stinkers, and the greatest playoff success we saw (legendary game 6 4th quarter comeback vs Clippers) he wasn't on the floor.

That's all going to disappear once the Rockets stomp teams in the playoffs and MVP Harden regularly drops 40 point,10 assist games.

Literally nothing to do with what I posted, nice try though. The question was why do people focus on Harden and not other players on other teams, well because Harden plays for the Rockets and not other teams.

much better defense in the playoff, he'll have some poor shooting games like the boston game just a few days ago, or a high turnover game like last night. If Harden struggles, others just need to step up. The Spurs probably will have leonard back in the playoff, klay Thompson is ready to face guard harden....

Lol Lin sucks and is not a part of this discussion at all. What IS a part of the discussion is Harden quitting in game 6 of the playoffs last year. :(
