    The difference is Jordan never being outplayed in any series.

    He never lost a series as a favorite or with HCA, IIRC.

    I trust Chris Paul and hopefully he can motivate Harden to go through all the ups and downs in the playoffs.

    It takes a team. CP3 has a LOT to prove. Harden will help him as well.

    In past seasons, I'd go into defensive mode because of weaknesses we didn't shore up at the trade deadline.

    The drama now is about MDA not playing enough or the wrong players!

    What better time to bring it!

    He has given me no reason to trust him and plenty of reason to NOT trust him on the big stage of the playoffs.

    So no I do not trust him.
    I don't trust CP3 either.

    I can't hope for any offensive creativity from D'Antoni but I do hope for a more balanced workload in the postseason, should Chris Paul play aggressively off the dribble.

    If Chris Paul doesn't play hard and aggressively on offense, the team will go absolutely where Harden takes them. What that means? Probably a WCF berth. No teams are really equipped to contain Harden in a seven game series outside GS and maybe SA. SO even if Harden's volume and efficiency tapers off again, this team is still essentially last years team but with better shooting and a top 10 defense.

    Harden will need to show out in the playoffs in order to drop the stigma that he chokes in the big games. I think he'll crush it this year with chris paul to lean on when the goin gets tough

    If we can win 60+ games for the first time in team history then we can win a championship for the 3rd time. To do either of those things you have to have trust in your best player because without him you won't accomplish either.
