Herschel vs Slaton vs Jacoby cage match for the return man position. He can powerbomb Trindon Holliday to warmup.
I was about to make a snide comment about his multiple personalties, but then I saw the picture that The Situation posted, and now I just want to curl up in a corner and cry. The Texans should sign him, and his only job would be to slap Gary Kubiak once for every timeout he leaves on the board at halftime. I guarantee Kubes learns clock management real quick that way.
True or anectdotal, no free weights in his workouts, eats only 1 meal a day. He'll be 49 in several weeks.
I've seen him in DFW airport a few times in the last few years and he looks just as young in real life as he looks in the picture. He's in incredible shape.
This isn't true and has been verified by many of his teammates and Herschel himself. He lifted weights and ate normally. He does a ton of sit ups, push ups, etc., but that is in addition to weight training.
He looks like he's in great shape but you can't survive playing a skill position in the NFL without speed. At 48-years-old I doubt he's still got that.
Looks like he could still play physically and says he has the speed. But I imagine recovery time would be much longer at that age. He would have to be used sparingly.
Every article and interview I've read says otherwise. He does not lift weights. He doesn't hold himself to the one meal a day thing but he only eats when he feels he needs to which is often once a day.
