I agree. I know the suspense of it all is the exciting part, but I feel like they could accomplish all the plot movement that they manage to do in 1 hour in a simple 30 minute format. I mean at the end of the show I can't believe I just watched an hour to see so little actually develop. Another thing; does anyone else feel like there are an ungodly number of commercials in this show?
I guess the suspense isn't killing me so bad since I downloaded after the 5th episode and watched it all so it built up well for me but I definitely feel what you guys are feeling but whatever it is it's working because I'm sitting at my desk waiting for the show to come on. So far we have: Assassin Tinkerer Phase Shifter Radioactive man Power leecher Time Bender Mind Reader Healer Mind Wiper
Anyone think it was a bit silly on the video of the cheerleader that they would purposely damage their car by running into her. How did they explain the car damage?
Great episode last night, and I don't mind the pace at all, there are a lot of players to put together. Spoiler Anyone else think the Cheerleader's dad is actually a good guy, working for the government? Also, Studio 60 was OUTSTANDING last night. DD
Spoiler its kinda hard to tell at this point, although i think he's a bad guy with a heart coming over to the good side
Spoiler I haven't seen episode 3,4 or the new one. But I did get the idea that he'll end up being the good guy and try to protect her from Sylar. I think that he's working for the government and like with all shows of this ilk the government wants to exploit the powers. I actually think he is searching for people with certain powers so they can be used against enemies of the gov't. I think he'll end up being a good guy in the end. Spoiler One thing I heard somewhere else and thought was a pretty good plot idea was this: The picture the guy painted of the girl in the cheerleader outfit with her brain taken, is not Claire. It is the cheerleader that took credit for the save. It seems that Sylar is targeting heroes and stealing their brains to stop them. It wouldn't surprise me if he mistakenly found the lying cheerleader and assumed she was the one he was looking for. My guess is this could really be a good idea for a season ending cliffhanger.
You can add: Precog Flyer Spoiler Freezer (seems like Sylar's victims always end up frozen with their brains removed)

What he said...Great episode last night...I really dig this show...The brother freaking out was cool...I like the bros...
Spoiler I think Linderman ends up playing a HUGE role in the show. The fact that we never see him (unless I missed something) and that he has managed to have tie ins with several of the heroes leads me to believe that there is something behind him that we don't know about.
Spoiler What if we have seen him? What if he is Claire's father. That is something I just thought of as a possibility. This is the reason this show is so good. the twists and turns are phenomenal and the mystery behind the story gets you hooked and you want to know more. Haha were are almost to the point of having thread where everypost is nothing more than Spoiler ...
Spoiler I liked the preview for the next show where they said "WIll we finally find out who's side this guy is on? Also, the burner, what was his name? As soon as he said "if you shoot me I don't know what would happen, I might blow up" I immedietly tied him to the explosion the painter did depicting the destruction of New York. One last thing, the kid. Am I the only one who is thinking this kid is the Franklin Richards of this show? For those who don't know, that's the son of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman who had like unlimited powers.
For some reason, when you said "Franklin", I immediately thought of Franklin Bluth, and I thought "That would be GREAT!"
Last night's episode was a good one...I'm really, really digging how the writers have fleshed out the characters and given them real unique and multi-faceted personalities. For example.... Spoiler Nathan: I love the fact that this "Hero" is a somewhat dirty politician, is savvy, and is slick as hell. The fact that he could lie to his wife straight up with such a big smile, and swing things around with the blackmail against him makes me like him that much more. Much more appealing than the cookie cutter typical idealistic hero.... Peter: Guy made up some ground in yesterday's episode. He was probably one of the more 1-Dimesensional characters, being the idealistic hero...it was nice to see him use some of the same guile that his brother has to get what he wants and cover for Nathan in front of the reporter. Micha: I never took notice with him really, and always considered him background, but I thought one of his high points came last night when he said to Jessica something to the effect, "Get my Mom on the phone"...that phone conversation was quite entertaining...and the fact that Jessica didn't flinch made it even more so. Nikki/Jessica: Jessica's personality and character is sweet. A ruthless badass with no conscience...what's not to like?
Good lord the spoiler tags are getting overused. A spoiler (this is completely made up) would be Spoiler Sylar is an evil alternate future version of Hiro, according to a guy I know that works on the show A spoiler is not Spoiler Do you think the tattoo on the cops means something? It would be cool if that meant he was becoming good or evil or something, like Nikki When post is nothing but a spoiler button, who knows what's in there? 90% of the spoiler tags have been used for general discussion or theories, but I always have to worry that's there's an honest to goodness spoiler (Nathan gets killed tonight!) that I'll be upset seeing. Please preface spoiler buttons with warnings: minor, major, just a thought I was having, etc Evan
i agree. they get annoying. most of the "spoilers" in here aren't worthy of putting a spoiler tag on them.
