    No sh**!!!

At work we have Mix 96.5 (or whatever that station is) playing throughout the office. Last Monday, during EVERY commercial break throughout the work day, they ran the ad for the show with that saying being whispered. I mean over and over and over and over and over again. VERY annoying.

That's the ONLY thing I really do not like about the show is how I think it's a little too much drawn out. I know they want to build characters and the story and go through all the clues, etc; but I don't think we have really progressed that much the last few weeks?

The standard for Network TV shows is a 22 minute episode for a 30 minute block, 44 for an hour, etc. It's the way they space the commercials out that make them seem longer. In Heroes' case, it seems as though the commercials get longer towards the end, which makes sense since you're already vested and won't quit watching.

I know what you're saying, but I think you've got to keep in mind that Evil Niki is a loner/indepedent type character. Any association she has with the outside world must have some form of separation from Good Niki. That's probably one of the reasons why she wiped out DL's crew after the job.

Furthermore, you can also look at it from a practical standpoint. Does Evil Niki really care about DL more than the money? Any job heist could leave a a trail that would eventually lead to DL, her and Michah. Therefore, Evil Niki knew that the trail would end most definitely once DL was apprehended, since all fingers pointed to him; DL is the perfect patsy.

Ok, just saw my first episode last night...Claire, Eden and Niki are hot, in that order...ok, now for the real stuff...I'm a little lost...

First of all, what is the dad, like a person set up to find all the heroes? 2nd, why get fake parents for claire to ask questions, to avoid her finding out more info about her gift? The asian guy is funny...Is DL a hero too?

It's a very complicated story. My advice would be to watch all the episodes in order starting from the first one.

    Good episode last nite!

Love how DL did the hand into the heart, very Martian Manhunter from the DC comics, does anyone else think Claire might have been killed last nite?

i think that is the hook for the show, much like lost has the mystery of the island. the anticipation of the characters teaming up and the sylar subplot are what keeps you watching. once the mystery is gone, the show won't be as fun to watch. its the strength of these types of shows, but also a glaring weakness since people kind of get fed up with waiting around for answers.

I have a feeling that he will be something special. I doubt they would kill off a kid first anyway.

While true for most shows, there is excitement in build up here, but when the team finally gets together they have 60 years of comic stories that they can draw upon. Origin stories are fun, but theres a reason why some of the team comic books have lasted so long. The executive producers are obviously comic fans, so I don't doubt that they will yank some of the better stories and put them in tv form.

Parents are both heroes. He knew his mom had a "secret" before she even told him. Seems way smarter than the average kid (What was he working on in episode 1??).

This kid obviously has a role in this thing. I think he's special too.

However, I am getting increasingly frustrated with kids not acting their own age. First there was Harry Joel Osmond and then Dakota Fanning and now more and more of these kids who are too mature are popping up everywhere. Why can't we just have regular kids? These freaks are annoying me now.

i understand, but he is by far the most annoying character on tv. He's a f'n kid and he struts and talks like u just **** in his sandwhich. He's a condescending lil brat.
