That would be a very cool element to the show, and explain a lot of why saving the cheerleader is so important. DD
Spoiler Why wouldn't he be? There's been no concrete indication that the Claire's Father is Sylar, and the fact that the Cop remains alive leads me to believe that he isn't. They (the Claire's Pop & the Mysterious Man) seem to have their own separate, unknown agenda.
Sorkin is awesome. Intelligent and creative, but Studio had some slow parts for me. I'll prob try that again though also.
Studio started with a bang, now it is about building the characters backgrounds to give the show legs. It is smartly written....I like it....a different kind of show. Heroes is brilliant.....X-files meets X-men.....just amazing. DD
This show is almost too mysterious - sometimes its neat to be able to solve things - here it is impossible. Seriously, it is really good, I just wish I knew what was going to happen...kind of like I erally only need one episode to summarize the whole season....but then I guess there'd be no suspense and it wouldn't be such a good show! Is Hiro an American actor or a Japanese one, I wonder - he plays his role perfectly.
Yeah would kind of kill the show if they just explained everything right off the bat. I like it's suspense level, after watching Lost this show is like on fast forward in terms of explaining enough to keep you from getting frustrated. Spoiler Last nites episode was good, just curious how Claire could get killed, from the painting it looks like she's bled to death some how
Well that seem more like a way of temporarily putting her down but from the painting it seemed that she was dead with a capital D, just my impression
Monday nights rock with Heroes and Studio 60. For me, they are the perfect blend of crazy, action meets really intellegent drama/comedy. I'm not a big fan of shows that aren't terribly self-contained. One of my favorite things about the X Files was that they mixed self-contained shows (about some freak or moster or whatever) that were wrapped up before the credits with the underlying storyline of the cigarette man, aliens, etc. With Heroes, I'm hoping that, at some point, they will get to a place where they can have some self-contained episodes because it can get a little draining to have each episode end on a near cliffhanger.
Good point, even though it appears that if any part of her is put back on she'll regerate, i.e. the branch in the other episode, once her body was able to regenerate without obstruction it did so, just thinkin out loud. I am curious as to how they are going to find her considering they just have the pictures to go on
Perhaps Suresh and his Father's old Map could possibly clue in on her location. Just wonderin'...cause I can't tell if it's just me or if anyone's else noticed but...is it me or do the commercial breaks in Heroes seem to be much more longer/frequent compared to Studio 60? I swear, Heroes seems to have soo many commercials, while Studio 60 seems to not have any at all....is it just me?
Maybe the story about the cheerleader saving the guy in the fire will go national and they'll be led to that other cheerleader who took credit for doing it.
Probably - different shows with extremely different budgets and time slots have to generate different levels of revenue. Heroes probably has a budget on par with LOST, so it needs to cram in as much ad money to offset its cost as it can. Evan
Anyone know how many episodes there'll be this season? I just finished watching the first 4 episodes I downloaded... its pretty good. I just don't like that Nikki girl, she ain't a mutant, she's just r****ded. Episode 5 is taking a while to download...
I'd assume it'd be the typical 22-24. Nikki's the incredible Hulk! Just getting pissy doesn't mean she could skewer thugs - not unless she's le Femme Nikki. Evan
