Another rockets/heroes conflict? *sniff*. I"ll trade an episode of heroes for a rockets win though. I just saw Sylar in a charmed episode. He was evil there too.
Well, I don't have a DVR. And my 2nd TV will be in use tonight as well. So I guess I'll just have to wait for NBC to stream it before I can watch it.
I was about ready to drive into oncomming traffic listening to the game on the way home tonight, so I decided to not watch the game tonight. Anyways, HOLY SH*T, I did not see that coming!!!
yeah i didn't really get that. i thought maybe they did it just to make him look cool, but it can't be that simple.
Not really a spoiler, just some speculation overheard on the aicn forums: Spoiler One theory is that the scar was actually given to Peter by Hiro, accidentally, who either thought Peter was Sylar, or vice versa, or something. That explains why it's a long diagonal line.... a scar from a sword
Great episode, I've always loved alternate future episodes in past shows I've watched. Just good stuff all around. One question I have is how did sylar survive the explosion if he didn't have claire power yet?
I am going to do my best to explain what I think happened. When future Hiro went back and talked to Peter, he changed the past. Although when he returned to his future he didn't know if the cheerleader was saved or not. He did not realize it until Past Hiro told him they were successful. At that point he knows she lived. F_Hiro's intent was to stop Sylar from having regen, so he could kill him and he would not become the bomb. The problem is that P_Hiro didn't know to kill him so he didn't, allowing Sylar to live. In the unchanged past Sylar was the bomb (or at least that is what everyone thought), but with the change Peter became the bomb (with regen) and Sylar lived. F_Sylar has apparently (through his show of powers) killed change girl, Nathan, and DL. Peter must have also had some contact with Claire's mother (fire power). Sylar (as Nathan) has Matt rounding up the SG's so he can take their powers.
The whole thing is that the episode was about an alternate timeline. He never saved the cheerleader, so he never got close to claire and never got the regen power. If Hiro DOES kill Sylar, that whole future never happens. That's my 2 cents. By the way, anyone notice how Sylar and Boozer kind of look alike?
Wait I'm getting confused here. So Sylar was actually the bomb to begin with? I thought it was Peter and that Nathan just blamed Sylar to cover him up. Or did the latter happen because of the change? Don't save the cheerleader = Sylar's the bomb? Save the cheerleader = Peter's the bomb?
Huge plot hole: Candace (shapeshifter) was seen in last night's episode helping Bennett relocate "specials". (She was later killed in the episode.) How did Sylar get her power then?
Sylar as the President probably went to the paper company and killed her, or are you asking how he already had the shape shifting power? Maybe he killed someone else with it. DD
