I like this...Makes sense...Have to give props to Candice (?), the girl that can change..She looked so f'n hot in that plaid school girl skirt...mmm... Finally saw it last night and wow, great episode...So, its a week before the elections, Issac is dead and apparently no one finds him for another week, per previous Hiro ep...I don't get the Sylar change in voice, kinda gay...I agree that Mohinder should have finished Sylar off, but c'mon Sylar's character is badazz...Hiro in the future runs into future Hiro...Isn't that a bad thing... So if there is glass/stick that goes into the back of your head, you're dead, but if someone pulls it out, your alive..Claire had the same thing earlier, coincidence? So Linderman can heal, needs Micah for something and invites the bomb to focus everyone to do good? I'm about to start reading the graphic novels to fill in the blanks... I can't wait for the Future ep next week...
1st scenario: Sylar gets to Claire (cheerleader) becomes the bomb and blows up NY. Future bad-azz Hiro tries to stop him and stabs him, but he regenerates due to Claire's powers. NY goes ka-boom. Future bad-azz Hiro sets up in Isaac's place, hangs up all the photos and tries to figure out the timeline; he goes back in time to prevent Sylar from getting to Claire and in the process finds Peter on the train... which leads to the past being changed and the: 2nd scenario: Peter prevents Sylar from getting to Claire; but he instead gets her powers and will meet Nuke Guy at some point (in the next episodes as HRG and crew travel to NY?). Here are my conjectures (still don't quite get the specifics) This is why future bad-azz Hiro is confused as to why the explosion still happens. Originally it was Sylar but now it's Peter that causes it. It's also why Isaac mentions that Sylar is late. If the 1st scenario played out, Sylar would've came to kill Isaac earlier. It's also why current Hiro and future bad-azz Hiro end up at the same place.. as if the two strands joined at that point. The idea is that the future can't be changed by the past (as Isaac summed up).... My question is, now that Sylar can paint the future, how is that going to affect the various plots?
If you read the graphic novels, you know that Hannah found out about the Linderman-Petrelli link and is trying to stop the elction rigging by getting the word out acrossd the net - her power is information manipulation. Linderman is going to use Micah to manipulate the machines, I'm guessing, since that is Micah's power - to win the election for Nathan. I do think Nathan will win - both Sylar and Isaac painted that same scene in the Oval Office. It cracked me up at how crappy Sylar's version was though. Ottomaton & curves' theory makes more sense to me now about the bomb shifting from Sylar to Peter. What bothers me though is this - Hiro now believes that no matter what you do in the past, the future can't be changed. Isaac says essentially the same thing. Okay - why then did Isaac send out the 9th Wonders comic that he said could end Sylar & stop the bomb? Why yell you can't fight the future after just saying that you knew how to change the future? Oh, and again, Micah is the only character we've seen reading 9th Wonders, so maybe he'll save the world, just in the way Linderman thinks. Oh, Future Hiro's sidekick, Sparrow, looks like she might be hot. Hope she shows up next week.
I got the following spoiler at spoilerfix.com. I'm posting it here because it seems like it will be pretty important but I can't figure out off the top of my head what it is supposed to mean. Spoiler [rquoter] [Mama Petrelli] certainly does [have a power]. And it's very similar to a power possessed by another hero, only in her case, it takes a lot less effort to get from Point A to Point B. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide [/rquoter] Any ideas? Who has a power that requires lots of effort or work? The only one that I can think of is Hiro... and maybe Sylar but I can't imagine it'd be either of those, or why wouldn't she be much more involved/using her powers?
maybe claire inherits more than 'just her mouth'. mama can regenerate.. as in she can create dupes of herself? BAH. can't wait for the next episode.
Since she's Nathan's mom, maybe she can teleport while Nathan has to fly. Then again Nathan's and Peter's powers are completely different. Lindermann's power doesn't seem like heal to me as that plant was dead. Maybe resurrection?
Linderman has heal/rehabilitate. It was in the graphic novels #24-#29. He cannot fix someone who is actually dead though, at least according to the novels.
Man I didn't even know they release graphic novels while the tv show was dormant. I got some reading to do
Spoiler I'm with you on the teleportation powers. She did say she was "personally" going to take Claire to Paris.
Me too..Well, just finished..filled in some blanks, as now you know more about Linderman...Well, I think Future Hiro had a belief the save the cheerleader, save the world thing should have worked...Where is future Ando?
Spoiler It's funny that you mention this, because there is a thread at 9th Wonders called "The Return of Simone", and starts: [rquoter] First Simone is coming back it has been confirmed, and she has powers. [/rquoter] I'm not sure who confirmed it, but there it is. She might be back? Who knows.
You know, if Peter's mom does have superpowers, how come Peter hasn't manifested her powers yet? I guess maybe if a power takes a conscious choice to perform, he has to know about it to use it? I dunno.
Maybe he has. I never understood Peter's power that he used to see Simone's Dad before he died. What was that? Was that just him using Issac's power? He did speak to her father so what power was that exactly?
I don't think they have explained that yet. I expect that it may be the power that Simone's father had. He and peter had identical dreams and I think Peter manifested it from him. I think he may also be one of the people that Linderman referred to as going their own way for their own gain. As for the mom, I think Peter probably hasn't exhibited that power because he doesn't know he has it yet. AS he was taught by Claude he had to really concentrate to use a power he had. If he didn't know he had it he may not be able to use it.
