It is better than 24 and Prison Break easily. I don't know about Lost. Lost is pretty freaking awesome to me.
I'm normally against overuse of the spoiler button but I consider Ottomaton's spoiler (which has spawned spoiler responses including my own) valid. It concerns something that hasn't been revealed yet. I don't think it's speculation. I think it's something that actually happens. But that EP hasn't aired which is what makes it a poiler. So I'm fine with the button in this instance. Some people have speculated on things that could happen with this new info. But in doing so they reference Ottomaton's spoiler and then must make their post a spoiler to ensure that the people who don't want to know don't read it.
Don't watch 24 or Prison Break but my order of favorite dramatic serial shows... Battlestar Galatica, Heroes, and Lost
Same here, and this is coming from a guy who absolutely LOVES Prison Break. I'm surprised that there isn't an official Prison Break thread. Monday has surprisingly become my favorite day of the week, Prison Break at 7, Heroes at 8.
Spoiler Me too I didn't much care for the actress or the character, oh well maybe they make her more intresting now that she apparently has some sort of powers
Yeah I still throughly enjoy it, that being said it's based on the fact that BSG is more multi layered in terms of story, i.e. talking about our present world and what not which I think great sci fi does and this show does an excellent job of. Heros to me is more like pure escapism, just fun to watch
Per the graphic novels (#21 to be exact)......it looks like she went on her own separate way following the wireless data she receives to track down whoever Bennett works for. It looked to me that she was led to Las Vegas.....maybe she'll be the one to find Linderman?
Absolutely. Heroes, although loads of fun, can't hold a candle to BSG in terms of dialogue, acting, and layered plot lines.
Only thing I'll say about BSG is Boomer (and the various "versions" of her) is hot hot hot hot hot. Evan
I hope Peter will cut his ****ing hair sometime between now and the next time he appears in an episode. Heroes is fun, but the acting is absolutely horrendous, starting with Peter the peter. God I hate the character so freaking much.
If you read my spoiler please click on this one, as it deals with that information: Spoiler I think the information that I posted may have been wrong. [rquoter] Tawny Cypress says she is not the only Heroes actor set to die before season's end. "I know of one other person who's going to get it," she says. She's set to make at least two more appearances on Heroes, one of which is the show's two-hour finale, set to shoot at the end of March. [/rquoter] I also found a couple of interesting things that would qualify as spoilers but are discussion worthy, I believe. The first one is for Rocketman95, and not particularly a plot spoiler: Spoiler [rquoter] Peter is going to get a much more severe image makeover than Isaac. I'm told that producers have had problems with continuity, so they asked Milo Ventimiglia to cut his hair. He agreed to shave his head—but requested a scar. And he will get one. [/rquoter] They get progressively more 'spoilerish' as we go along. Spoiler In 2 or 3 weeks, an episode will suppoedly will take place 5 years in the future (thanks to Hiro) and will include evil future Matt Parkmann and future Hiro. [RQUOTER] Greg Grunberg reveals: "We're shooting an episode we're about to shoot, where it's five years in the future, and it's not the Matt Parkman that anyone is used to seeing. My character is in a place that is really dark, and I'm not going to play it like this menacing, evil guy. I'm just going to play it as normal as possible. That, to me, is the way to make the most impact. Let the actions speak louder than the words." [/rquoter] This last one has hints of a major spoiler, but I'm trying to piece togeather exactly what it means. Beyond the information relating to my earlier spoiler it is really the reason that I wanted to post, because I'm not sure I understand it properly. Spoiler The following are quotes from Adrian Pashdar (Nathan) [rquoter] [There are bombshells left to uncover in Nathan's marriage.] Well, [Jessica/Nikki and Nathan] do end up in bed... but not like you think. I can't tell you any more than that, but [they] do end up on a bed. [/rquoter] [rquoter] There is a big union between [Nathan and Nikki] in the future. We come together in a huge way, but it's not what you expect. There is something that bonds us together, and it's shiny, it's fast, and it's deadly. [/rquoter] [rquoter] [The Jessica/Nikki and Nathan relationship] does take an interesting turn in Episode 20. "Tick-tock." That's the tease. [/rquoter] Also (not quotes from Adrian Pashdar): [rquoter] There's one person you probably think they would never kill off because of his or her special role on the series. But what if there were someone who could instantly absorb that person's special role? [/rquoter] and [rquoter] Tim Kring (one of the writers) revealed: I can confirm that [there will be another death this season.] It'll be someone who was in the opening minutes of the pilot. [/rquoter] I think that Nathan is going to get killed by Sylar but Nicki will absorb him, like she did for her sister? I also read a spoiler somewhere else that Nicki ends up with an extra person inside her, but I can't find the quote just now... If anybody can read that very differently it would be interesting to hear. Anyway, from reading the spoilers, Episode 20 is the one to wait for - it should be loaded with tons of action and information. BTW, all of the spoilers here come from spoilerfix.com, who have a few more if anybody really wants to spoil as much as possible.
OMFG BEST EPISODE IN THE HISTORY OF TV! Ok, mild overreaction, but that was the best episode of the season. Usually flashback episodes are lame and filler, but this one was a bombshell and a half. HRG is a greatly written character too. You always see the 'bad' side first and then they show his noble intentions (however misplaced) and it makes him a believable character for the extremes he's gone through. And yet another episode w/out Nikki! Hooray beer! Can't wait for next week. Good info Ottoman, I couldn't resist hitting the spoiler button.
Spoiler That doesn't make much sense to me. I thought only Peter could absorb powers and Niki could only transform into Jessica. If they kill of Nathan, man I'm so going to be depressed. I want his character to develop more and not to mention, fly.
