Spoiler I bet Claire's father will be the man who sent a text to HRG some episodes back. His boss and new character we haven't seen in person but know about. I doubt it's Nathan because he's not old enough, he's not from Texas, and Claire's mom talked to the father as if he already knew she existed and was alive. Linderman and the man who sent that text to HRG might be the same person though. What happened to Peter's flight to Las Vegas? I thought he wanted to get out ASAP. That would have set up a meeting with Ted out in the middle of nowhere when he absorbs his power.
This thread is for discussion of the show. How can we discuss is if we don't mention things that happen in the eps. I'm not talking about anything that hasn't happened (except for conjecture and theories that may or may not be true, total guesses). Seriously, the thread died for a few days. The new ep aired and it got brought back. What do you think we're talking about? If you open this thread and don't expect to see people talking about the episode that aired last night you are a moron. It's simple, if you're not caught up, don't read the thread. This thread shouldn't be one massive spoiler button and unless I post detailed info on what happens in future eps, I will refuse to use the spoiler button. I just finished the bible: Spoiler Jesus dies
You know how Sylar didn't die last night... well we know he didn't have time to get the "unbreakable" ability from Claire. So what if he figured out how the "cockroach" ticked, and so now only an atomic blast will destroy him. Cause I swear that's the only way to kill a cockroach. lol! Loved the ep last night. even Hiro's "gulp" was great
I know I didn't think about that until I read it here, still it seems that HRG must have had a purpose to having that cockaroach in there
I'm still interested in the show, but I'm getting a little board.. I want to see someone really use their abilities to the fullest for a few minutes not just a quick glimpse of what they can do.. IMO Hiros character really leaves a lot to be desired when he doesn't have his powers and I'm getting board with him always having to find something...
My theory on Clarie's Dad is it is Nathan. I think Nathan went to Texas when he was just starting off his political career and had an affair. The women got pregnant and had Claire. Nathan's dad, scared that it would ruinin his son's political career had his boss Linderman help to get rid of the problem. Linderman paid Clarie's mom to fake the fire and death and placed the baby with HRG. Just my theory.
Couldn't agree more. Additionally, the most aggravating thing is when the entire post is a spoiler. I've got no clue what's in that post unless I look. I've got no clue if its general talk (90% of the time) or a bonafide spoiler until it's too late - which completely makes the spoiler button worthless. Spoiler button = I know something will happen, and this is what it will be. If you're not caught up and come in this thread, it's your own fault. Evan
Actually, I think it should be for recent episode content also, be sensitive to those that Tivoed it for the weekend or something.
As far as the spoiler button goes...I won't use it for episodes that have already been aired. It's just silly. I do use it for spoilers, which I consider news/rumors about future shows. I presume that the thing in the back of his head was used to pump him full of seditives.
Everyone HAS to read the graphic novels they are awesome They introduce a ton of new characters and explain a lot about what is going on.....a good way to get new info on the show. DD
I actually don't really care myself, I'm the type that would read half of the book, then the last 2 chapters and then skimmed through the middle. But if that's the case, in movie threads, if a movie comes out, do we get to give out content detail without the spoiler button? I'm mean it's out in theatre, it's fair game right?
