That is true. Oh well theory debunked, unless it's a voluntary action. He figured Nathan wouldn't run if he had a gun on him. Thought wrong. *shrugs*
So was the Haitian. It's entirely possible that he can control it so that it isn't always used. That theory also explains why he was "recruited" to find them and collect them. If he can't be affected by their powers. Why would a completely normal human be leading a group of heroes to find heroes, when it would be much more effective for a hero to do it.
Is it possible that the Haitian and / or HRG can only stop mental powers or affect someones brain wave activity? They can't stop Peter's brother from flying because it is a physical ability, they couldn't stop Claire from healing, but they could stop other peoples mental gifts.
it's a t-rex. Good show, i watched the whole first season yesterday including last nights last episode of season 1. THank god for dc++ and thank god for finals week
I distinctly remember that there were two people who were taking Peter's brother away when he took off. Who was the other one besides HRG?
Could Peter become the anti-Sylar? What I mean is, ultimately he will be able to absorb and keep other's powers as well.
here are some of my questions regarding the show: anyone have any ideas about the tattoos and symbols in the show? The one at the end of Hiro's sword hilt, the one on Niki/Jess, and the ones on Matt the cop and Teddy the nuclear man? are there going to be more heroes uncovered? I think in the spring episodes there will be more unique powers, maybe shape shifting? maybe the vision that Peter had in the last episode: it will be sylar who will absorb the shape-shifter's power and turn into Nathan, coming to get Peter's power? Peter then erupts to save the world while Hiro teleports everyone away (hiro will have learned to teleport other people/things away, he already can teleort the comic book right?) the opening and theme of the series: the sun with the eclipse? what does that symbolise? Is there some kind of higher cause beyond saving NYC from nuclear explosion? Who's this Mr. Linderman? Is he someone we already know, hiding in the background, or he hasn't appeared yet. One more question. What will Mohinder's role be? He doesn't seem to have any special powers, yet he seems to be one of the major characters in the show. Could he have a power that is still dormant? Maybe a uniter like Prof. X?
What is this trash!!!! Graphic Novel #11 tells you wayyyy too much. Spoiler I thought Sylar escaped after Eden killed herself. The novel clearly shows that he gets shot with tranquilizers or whatever and doesn't escape. DAMN YOU DAKOTA!!!!!!!
It doesn't count as "ruining" the story if it comes directly from NBC. They obviously want you to read the graphic novels or they wouldn't be available.
yes, true but a person who doesn't check out the novels would never have known unless they show it on the upcoming episode. We will have to wait and see.
My guess is that they won't show it in a TV Episode since they've haven't ever done so in the past with the other comics; they'll probably simply mention it....
