The show had great moments in Season 1 but they seemed to drag that out way too long. In the end, Sylar probably will just kill Samuel and his band of carnies (outside of Claire who can't die) and once again, we will have Peter fight Sylar... lol... and the cycle continues.
Nathan was annoying as ****. And if they kill off Claire, I am done with this show. They already killed off Kristen Bell
Just a question, when Samuel said he wasn't after Claire but someone else, did he mean Noah (due to his ability to round people up) or Claire's lesbian friend (made it appear that way)?
I like the room mate theory. I think he is after Sylar or Peter. Both could serve big roles in his plans.
it's been a little slow this season, but i'll still watch...need more girl on girl kissing and i'll be good...
Possible way to destroy Samuel. Peter is informed of Samuel's plans by Hiro and Ando. Peter goes to the carnival to kick ass. Samuel is superpowerful, because he has recruited dozens of mutants. Ando supercharges Peter's power absorbing ability, so that his range grows and that he can hold multiple abilities. Peter gets Samuel's sooped up power and the rest of the circus's abilities. Peter starts to multiple with the replicate man's ability. There are dozens of Peters with Samuel's power and a hundred other abilities. They are also indestructible because of Claire's healing ability. The multiple Peters go crazy on the Carnival and defeat everybody and Sylar gets killed too.
Anyone still watching? I thought this was the best season since season 1. Seemed like there was a lot less clutter now w/certain characters being written down or out completely. The pacing seemed much better though some of the stories still hung on tenuous at best (story) logic. Samuel is by far the best villain the series has had since season one's sylar. I hope he comes back at some point down the road. I'd pretty much lost all hope after season 3 but after this past season, I'll definitely stick around and see how it pans out.
Have you seen the last episode yet (called Brave New World)? I thought it was pretty good although this season had a lot of low points, it was definitely better than 2 and 3. Hopefully they come back for season 5.
this season was good, but i thought they could have done more with the final battle, also what happened to mohinder? he was kinda pointless this episode.
you mean this season right? im pretty sure he wasnt in the last episode. i think its all part of trying to write characters out and keep it simple, he was one of the better actors though so that kinda sucks.
Easily the worst season in the series. I had to stop watching a couple episodes back. There was no plot, just episodes of nothing. They wasted Robert Knepper
Still watching but the finale just left me kind of eh, kind of like the whole season. HRG is still the most interesting character in the series in my opinion and the episode where we got to see some of his early days were interesting. If it comes back, I'll be curious to see how they work the out in the open story line.
Pretty much this. I thought this was going to be a lot more interesting than it was. Sometimes I wish they'd just full out copy good comic book plots rather than take elements from them constantly and do nothing with it. I'm not saying I could write decent dialog for a whole tv series but couldn't nearly everyone in this thread come up with better overall storylines than what they've treaded out for the last few years?
I thought this season was better than the last but was still too slow and too all over the place. Claire is the most boring character on the show but is the only one that seems to be in every episode. I guess I'll come back for next season if there is one.
I agree with you hands down, but I actually watched the season the whole way through. I don't know why I still watch. I've seen every episode, but I think now I'm officially done with it.
If this series ended with the last episode they aired, I wouldn't be too sad. As Dave78 said, there is way too much Claire involvement when she doesn't really do very much. The way they ended it is fine with me.
