Word. I said this after the first season ended. Bingo! It's on the writers to take the show to another level since the novelty is off. So far they have not. Even if later episodes turn out better, the first 3 episodes this season were almost a waste. But I agree that episode 3 was better than the first 2. Maybe that's a good sign.
im starting not to care about this show...thank god i have dexter and the weeds to keep me entertained...
Been catching spot shows of Dexter [not on showtime but like t101 Can you give a bit of an update on it Rocket River
Is this how this thread is going to be now? A giant b****-fest? If so, I'll see ya'll at the end of the season.
Dexter Update [Possible Spoiler]: Spoiler Dex has been having difficulties killing this season (he gets cold feet). The area he left bodies has been found and the FBI is in Miami working on the case. Doakes still thinks Dexter is up to something. I'm liking Heroes this year. The note to Ando was a nice touch.
I've been surprised at how good this season has been. Last year dragged on with too much Sylar from the middle of the year till the end. I really hated last season's finale. I like Peter's story line in Ireland this year.
Man, last season's show was slow as hell too. I nearly gave up on it. Of course, all the commercial and weekly breaks and hiatises don't help. I re-watched Season 1 on DVD and it was A LOT better. This year seems to be the same way but I'll be more patient. I didnt like this week's episode at all. Seemed real cheesy.
I have finally caught up on DVR, while the show is a bit slower this year, I am not minding that fact one bit. I was happy to see Sylar back, and wondering what is really going on with him....IE, did he kill that girl, or is it all in his head? Claire's character needs a good storyline, her regeneration is neat, but not so powerful. Peter's story arc is my favorite, and him joining the family and tatting up was cool. Nathan needs to stop whining (is it really Nathan?)...... And what is with the little girl and nightmares, who is the boogeyman? Is Maya actually killing or sucking the souls out of people? DD
They need to stop with all those shots of a bare-chested Peter. I'm mostly only still watching this because of Hiro's story arc.
Caught that but just forgot to mention it. Too bad Dominic Keating's character is gone, I was hoping to see him around a bit more.
oh man i never even thought of that. it would certainly make more sense because he didn't get her power after getting into her brain.
One of the producers has a blog that suggests the Candice offing was legit. Be interesting to see what exactly is going on with Sylar. I'd be cool with it if he's starting with a blank slate. It gets tough to keep up with all the people he murdered and powers he took. Plus, you don't want him to keep on becoming the deadliest guy on the planet. I'm convinced they're setting up an "Evil Peter" storyline. Veronica Mars should debut sometime soon. Hopefully she's a good character. The Wonder Twins of Death kinda suck. I'm curious if the brother (her safety valve) gets killed and makes her killing sprees a one-way trip. I want to know who the "doctor" is that they're seeking for a cure. It's not Sylar like I originally thought - maybe it's the new angle the Agency is using to rope in mutants? I pray that Spock and not Shatner is the next Star Trek alum that appears, if any do. Spock would make a nice villain. Malcolm McDowell last season also counts as a Trek tie in (Generations villain). Maybe I'm alone, but the Hiro storyline seems overly predictable and cheesy. Kring, the creator, has said in a G4 interview that they want to avoid last year's 1 season, 1 story formula and switch to a 1 season, 3 mini-story one. That should mean things will pick up over the next 5 episodes and climax. Evan
I'm guessing they're looking for Chandra Suresh. In the graphic novels, they're reading his book. I posted a link a page or two back. The obviously don't know he's dead but will probably find Mohinder instead. On the other hand, they keep showing Nikki saying "You can cure us" or something like that and she just met up with the company man who brought in Mohinder. So it could be the company too.
The doctor they're looking for is Chandra Suresh (Mohinder's dad). They've been reading up on his book...they just don't know that he's dead.
I just finished the Graphic Novels and they seem to make things even stupider Linderman was a healer. . but her could 'heal' plants??? How did the Haitian TURN OFF his dad's powers? I thought he just stole memories The Graphic Novels seem to have people's powers expanded Rocket River Does Bennet know Nathan survived?
I believe that they showed that in the series too. After he spoke with Nathan. That was in the series also. When the Haitian and HRG were coming out of the paper company and Matt was in the car, he got feedback when he tried to read their minds. Also when Matt was captured, he tried to read HRG's mind, and HRG said something along the lines of "oh not with my friend here" I don't know that they are expanded, but in some cases they are more defined. I haven't caught up on all of them though. Just the ones from last season (I haven't read the summer ones or the ones from this year) Bennett probably does know. He's kept in touch with Mohinder, plus I am sure there had to be some sort of "I can't be Congressman" speech and him in the news. It's not like he could have escaped all media attention when that happened.
That always bugged me...especially when Nathan was able to fly away right in front of the Haitian and HRG. "Ooops...guess I should've had my power suppression on when we were trying to capture this mutant..."
