i've only watched episode 1 of season 2. got bored and haven't seen any since. am i missing anything?
missed the haitian kick peter's ass. That was a cool scene but then that makes me wonder how the Haitian got sick with the shanti virus.
Enjoyed the show last nite but gezz can they just kill the wonder twins already? I found their parts last nite like time fillers. Nothing really new aside from the actual homicides they are being chased for, guess I'd be a bit more intrested if they'd just explain thier silly powers a bit more. As for the rest, I thought it was good fill in the blank stuff, esp. with DL. Really wish they wouldn't have killed him off because I thought his character had some real potiental. The stuff with the company was by far the best of the episode. Ellie is freaking nuts and hot as hell!
Peter and Adam escaped together. Adam can't be locked up while Peter is in Ireland. They might have twisted things chronologically, but at the time of the first murder either both were still at Bob's or both had already escaped. This ep clouded Adam's motivations. At this point, we don't know if anything Bob/Ned said in the previous episode is true. I'm pretty sure we can rule out Peter as the killer. We've seen everything that has happened to Peter. From being imprisoned to escaping to getting his mind wiped and sent to Ireland. Unless he time travels back from some point in the future, it's not him.
Seriously. That **** could not become more stale and redundant. Them and the New Orleans subplot have been horrid - I cringe every time they show up. That has been one of the show's chief hallmarks the entire run. The characters are a real spectrum, not B&W good/bad guys. Half of the characters go back and forth, and even the bad guys have some soul (Sylar & his mom) and the pure guys have some dark (Claire going brat, Peter going Vader). It's a real good concept. Company girls are hot. You know Veronica Mars is a biter after last night. Had a girlfriend like that once. You should never try and marry them, but man..... 3 chief challenges to be overcome: Adam, Virus, Sylar w/Maya. Haitian must have midwiped Sylar to block his powers before Candice took him, I guess. Not sure how he gets that undone - hope the Haitian doesn't get killed though, I like him. I guess the Virus makes the most sense as what gets taken out in 3 weeks. My guess is that Claire can't do the trick but a redeemed Adam can. Bennett v. Mohinder probably won't go the way I'd like. Evan
What if in the next episode Adam sends Peter back in time to take out Sulu on the roof? He used Matt's dad as a tool, Peter would seem to be the current tool. Evan
I thought they would have shown a little more Sylar last night. Something like either him crawling into the sewer or somebody dragging him down there. Shipping him to Mexico. Maybe Bob observing his surgery. They couldn't do too much but I thought there might have been something.
I wish they would have made DL a different way. It didn't make it too much sense esp after demonstrating his power on the punch thing. He was a good character and interesting The Hatian's quiet mysteriousness makes him a great character too The sadistic Veronica Mars chick is growing on me alot of good characters The wonder twins are not some of them Rocket River
Um, yeah. Wondered about that. Here's another one: Wouldn't the media pick up on Nathan's burns (and subsequent miraculous recovery)? At the time of his "accident", he was a newly-elected Congressman. DL's death was the most pathetically r****ded (and unintentionally funny) thing I've seen on TV in years. The writers should have just let him die from the gunshots in the season 1 finale (thus setting up a Nikki-Sylar revenge plot line). What a crappy way to go.
maybe the media just forgot about him after he'd been in the hospital for so long and he decided to just leave and disappear. True about DL though but I'm hoping the company sent the Haitian there to disrupt his power to get nikki to work for the company.
Well, they had to set something up where Nikki would hold herself personally responsible for DL's death, thus giving her reasoning for leaving Micah in NO and coming to the Company. However, I don't think we've seen the last of DL somehow. They kept having him repeat that line 'You'll never get rid of me baby', something like that. Remember, from the moment Hiro went back in time, history has been screwed up, so everything that happened since then could possibly be reversed somehow. I like him - he seesm to be the only one in the show who is a truly good guy and only wants to do the right thing.
I have a feeling that he's not dead, especially considering we didn't see DL after he was shot (only blood splattering on Nikki). That's no way to kill off a main character.
I don't think Hiro screwed anything up. I believe that in the circular timeline, it was always Hiro who was the legend of Kensei.
did anyone see the trailer for next week? my girlfriend has our dvr set to record weeds after heroes ends...so it screws up the ending all the time. I know I read that someone is supposed to die though. as for dl, I like his character a lot...I hope that isn't the end of him, but I mean I dunno. as for the way he died, why is that so unbelievable for all of you? it's very obvious that he has to be aware of impending danger to turn it off or on. he didn't realize the guy had a gun until he shot him. the wonder twins...eh...I thought how it all began was interesting. been down hill from there. I'm really confused about who the bad guy is...hopefully it all clears up.
It's unlike him to not have his phaseshift powers on when there is any possible danger. He dodged a sniper shot from a rifle and dodged that guy's punch without knowing that guy had bad intentions. The minute he saw the guy coming back for more it would seem more like his character to be ready for it. Like I said the doubt would have been easily been done away with if the guy shot DL from behind instead of in front of him.
I think Hiro actually did mess up something. Kensei can live forever. Cant die by age. I think adam was actually Kensei and when Hiro kissed the princess he got upset and set out to make sure that he got his revenge on Hiro. I dunno im prolly wonrg lol
Right, but history may have always been built this way. Kensei never ended up with the princess in the stories that Hiro grew up with anyway.
