That's right..and also I don't want the conflict/achievement to be so similar (bomb/virus), especially when both are future threats that you somehow find aboout in the present. Just seems the same to meā¦kinda like the models Tom Brady dates.
I still need to get up to date on the novels... I'm glad they show re-runs of Monday's Heroes on Mojo, an HD channel...It's on Wednesdays and I think friday's too...
Great EW-Kring interview. He's spot on, I'm glad he's willing to admit to it and adjust. The only thing I didn't have a problem w/ was the introduction of 'rookies' in detached storylines. While it would be better to have them immediately weaved into other character's storylines, my main problem is they took way too long to develop.
Did the haitian ever meet Peter? Anyone think that maybe the haitian or maybe peter messed up his own memory? would also explain why he remembered his mother so quickly. Looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Imagine you're kensei and you're waiting indefinitely to get your revenge.
only 3 episodes left! At least we'll know that these next 3 eps are going to be awesome, but the thing that worries me is that it'll be rushed and we'll be left asking even more questions.
I don't think it will be rushed too bad. It was originally supposed to end in 3 episodes. This season was scheduled to have 2 major story lines. One that ended before Christmas and one that carried on after Christmas. The setup for the latter is supposed to occur before the end of the 11th episode. My guess is that the second half of the season is going to deal with Sylar getting his powers back and controlling Maya. That means Alejandro is going to bite it in episode 11. And we'll see the meat of that story happen once the show kicks back off after Christmas/Writers Strike. I enjoyed tonights episode. I was disappointed in the end of DL I liked him, but I enjoyed the storyline. We also got more of the suckitude that is Maya and Alejandro. I guess seeing him die may be the highlight of ep. 11 (if that is what happens). I liked the Peter stuff and I guess now he could manifest Adam, Bob and the Hatian's powers.
I was digging the last 4 or so episodes after the slow start. Didn't like this one though. Too many scenes devoted to stuff we already knew the outcome to. The next 3 look like they'll be awesome though. There's only 12 episodes or what?
11 before they take their normal winter break (could be longer depending on the writer strike) they are scheduled for 12 or 13 more in the spring. Bu tall along the creators have been saying they are going to break this season into 2 parts; before Christmas and after.
DL bit the dust in a horrible way. I'm almost sure if he saw that guy coming he would have been in phase shift mode to avoid it. somehow I think Bob and possibly the haitian were involved in DL's death. Maybe the Haitian was around to dampen DL's powers. With the death of DL Nikki would be more susceptible to helping bob out. I always thought nathan seeing his burned face was his imagination and what he could have been had he let peter blow up NYC. Didn't know he actually got burned because i'd have no idea how he would have healed but now I do. Now that Peter knows he's met the Haitian could he actually dampen the haitian's powers so that his can't be taken away?
I liked the episode...Filling in some of the blanks, etc... I still don't get how DL died..I mean, if he has this power, how does a normal bullet kill him...I know I'm over simplifying it, but I guess he has to be prepared...Plus, how did Adam come back...He can heal himself, but he was able to get Hiro's ability? I thought Heidi was confined in a wheel chair...I guess not anymore...Then nathan, Adam gave him some of his blood, so on the outside, he looks fine to everyone, but in the mirror, he still sees his burned body... I'm still not digging the brother/sister theme...Sylar is the only thing keeping it together... Elle is f'n hot...
yeah DL has to activate his phaseshifting. It doesn't activate like an defensive mechanism which is why it was silly to have him die from an attack from the front. It would have been more believable if someone shot him from behind unless someone like the haitian had mettled. nathan's wife was healed by Lindermann last season.
imagine sitting around waiting that long for your revenge. It must suck ass. Can't wait until next episode. Hiro tries to save his dad and we hopefully get to see who the hooded man is. I guess it can't be adam then since he was already locked up. Peter was in Ireland. Nathan seems too obvious.
The strike will likely mean the end of Heroes Season 2 after the next 3 episodes. And Sylar would probably not have been around much in the 2nd half anyway since Zachary Quinto is off playing young Spock now. BTW, when the hell did Nathan grow that Grizzly Adams looking beard of his that he had for the first few episodes? He was clean shaven when last night's episode ended.
I think we'll all get to feel a little of Adam's pain of waiting due the writer's strike. How can you be sure he was locked up? I think Bob is with Adam.
yeah you can't trust bob I guess. He could always be lying about locking adam up and throwing away the key. But Adam is trying to kill bob as well. He used Maury to kill him. I think it would be a bit too elaborate for them to win Peter's trust by locking him up and then having him break out with Adam. I think bob is good but he uses extreme measures to acheive it.
