Do I hate T-mac? No and Yes....I love what he can do when is challenged. I hate when he feels like all he can do is create. I'm tore up about it.....
I'm riding with T mac on this one...If we decide not to trade him i'm willing to give him a chance because he would still be the most talented player we have still.
Sorry to get into this one a little bit. Do you even remember his last year in the playoffs against Utah (last last year). You have got to be kidding me if you don't think that Tracy McGrady is capable of being the key player in a championship team. The problem was then that one player can only do so much. Now you reduce Tmac to the role of bloated salary trade bait. Bwah! Disgusting. If Houston trades a reasonably healthy Tmac next year to a championship contender, give that team the ring. The only thing the Rockets have yet to piece together is Tracy and Yao. Yao is out this year. It's TMac's turn. I think it will at least be an entertaining season . . .
In all honesty, I see 2 scenarios. 1. T-Mac comes back and gives the Rockets what they need in the SG spot. 2. T-Mac gets traded for amare and JRich and Houston gets what they need in the C and SG spot. Either way its an entertaining season, but without Yao, not a championship winning season. Either way, I'm into the rockets win or lose, its all about entertainment for me.
Oh but he does have a heart? pheww! scared me there! We wouldnt want a zombie on the team! Jokes aside, it´s a contract year, he seems to be giving great effort in the rehab process. I think the re vitalization bar to Tracy career is shifting in the right and positive direction.
Lol.......yea I've learned from my lurking that Tracy is not the most popular guy on these boards. somebody on here probably made the "blametracy.com" website
This is great news, but only if T-mac can be the player we saw in his first year with Houston. 25.7 ppg, 5.7 apg, 6.2 rpg, 1.7 spg, and .431 fg percentage. Not too good of news if he gets hurt again. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/mcgratr01.html
If Tmac can come back healthy and play semi-well.. I'll be shocked.. I don't even remember how he plays anymore..
Its Tracy's fault I lost my keys the other day, that cross eyed b*stard <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cpQwZC_ChcM&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cpQwZC_ChcM&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I hate this image of Tracy, really defines his season last year. IMO, he needs to learn to accept the role of facilitator and he could average 15/5/5 in 30 mpg on a solid team this season. He has lost his explosiveness, but is still an elite passer and ball handler for his size. Within the Adelman offense, these skills could be very effective and help lead to a 50 win season. As a side note, the look on Barry's face in that GIF tells the whole story of TMAC's situation. The once elite athlete now must now learn to use his experience and understanding of the angles of the game to dominate games in a new way.
