Here is a suggestion for Marketing and the Rockets...

    I agree that the current music sucks, but I wouldn't use the WWF as a protype for what a basketball game should be like for two reasons.

    One is that the audiences are completely different. The biggest money makers in sporting events are business sales. Another chunk of the tickets are sold to families. For the most part, WWF fans pay a lot less for tickets than basketball season ticket holders, and yes, that is a big reflection on the people that go to the events. Making it like a WWF event would turn a lot of people off.

    The second reason is that even if the audience were the same, why do you want the events to be the same? The WWF is a once a year event where people go release. They accept the music and crudeness as part of an act. Basketball is an event that people go to all the time and is much more serious (real).

    Look at the XFL, it bombed in one season because people don't want that kind of stuff at a sports event.
