Why would you invite trolls to come over here?

I wouldn't mind Jazz fans, or fans of any other team coming over as long as it isn't mindless trash talking. I always find it interesting what fans of other teams think.

Because it could be fun, grouchy!

Seriously, I agree with RocksMillenium. If they are intelligent like Swopa and The High Plains Drifter, then I don't see a problem with a Jazzhole fan coming over here.

However, considering my "popularity" here;) , I'm not going to give them the address to our site.

So you can rest easy there.

And of course to ensure they are intelligent and civil you go to their site and call them Jazzhole fans, ridicule their team and star player, tell them they are going to suck for along time, etc.

    Good job Manny.

    Thanks, dylan.

Are you saying that the only reason any Jazz fans would come here is because of me? Gee, I like to think that I have had an impact every now and then, but that's getting a little ridiculous.

How was my post over there any more inflammatory than SteveFrancis3's? Or did you even bother to read the posts over there before you posted your little cute condescending post here?

The fact of the matter is that if they are Internet savvy enough, they will find this site not because "Manny Ramirez" or "Steve Francis3" or "RocksMillenium" started posting in their forum.

Besides a little trash talking is not bad, it's not like anyone went over there and dropped f*bombs on them or anything like that.

Ummmm, if you provide the url for clutchcity and they came, then yes I would say they came because of you. How is that difficult to understand?

First of all your post (imo) was more inflammatory than stevefrancis3's (although not by a lot). Calling them jazzhole fans on their site is inflammatory, as is saying Karla Malone. None of this is all that bad but you make yourself look like an incredible hypocrite when you say "If they are intelligent like Swopa and The High Plains Drifter, then I don't see a problem with a Jazzhole fan coming over here."

Honestly, do you see what you posed as intelligent? Or civil? The difference between you and stevefrancis3 is he's not dancing around in this forum saying "tee hee, look at me, look at how clever I am".

And more importantly, do you feel like the post you made is conducive to them coming over here for intelligent discourse?

Are you so dense that you honestly believe that if noone on this forum had posted over there that they would randomly search for clutchcity, find this board, and talk smack? Get a grip, man!

I just don't want to see an interboard war start, which is what is going to happen if you continue to post like you have, then tell them "haha, this came from clutchcity.net". And not telling them were you are coming from is no less juvenile.

Ok, reality check. If a jazz fan came into the rockets forum and posted the same message you posted here people would go crazy. They would be called a troll, Clutch would warn/ban him, etc.

I'm not saying you did the worst thing in the world, just the hypocracy of your statements really amuses me.

Don't worry, the Jazz fans over there seem to like us now anyways :). They keep saying things like "welcome, feel free to come post over here" "feel free to bash our sorry team anytime" heh. I've stopped bashing them now though. I'll just talk basketball now and let them know when their trade scenarios are unfair :).

And, ummmmmm, I had said in like my 3rd post in this thread that i wouldn't give the address to this site. I thought that you had read that when you posted your question, so I guess that's why it's difficult for me to understand your original question. Unless they are telepathic and can read my mind, I don't see how they will get the address from me.

I didn't really see any posts over there that made me feel like that I had to post a "dylan of clutchcity" brand seal of approval post. If there were posts like ones by Swopa and The High Plains Drifter then I probably would have not thrown in some cheap shots at the end of my post. I can see why you might think that is hypocritical, but I honestly didn't see any posts there that looked intelligent to me from the Jazz side.

My first post over there was intelligent but a little mean-spirited at the end; however, I'll make sure that I take your advisement in the future when I post over there. I love how you just come up with that scenario about me dancing around here. The only reason that I said anything else besides that I responded to that one fan was because one of their fans asked me where was a Rocket site. I thought that some people here would want to know that. I'm sorry that I offended the great gatekeeper of the clutchcity BBS in the mighty dylan. Please forgive me...I will try to do so much better next time.

YOU need to get a grip. I think that you have been following your sig a little too closely there and that you have become too serious. I have never said one time that I or this came from clutchcity.net. And let me get this straight..you don't want an interboard war to start but at the same time you think that not telling him that I post on clutchcity is "juvenile"? Bravo, dude! Way to have your cake and eat it, too! That's one of the best things that I ever read here...ROTFLMFAO!!! I guess I'm too "dense" to understand how to resolve this "problem" when you put it like that.

And reality check...we already have someone who does that. His name is gettinbranded. Past experience that I have seen is that if someone comes here and posts nothing but trolling garbage then they are not going to survive. With that being said, I'm not going to encourage any of the Jazz fans to come here and troll our forums.

And you having a problem with what I'm doing amuses me, dylan. I'll be damned if anybody is going to tell me that I can't post over there. Now, let me say that I respect Clutch and the rest of the clutch crew in giving me the privilege to post here. If I ever do anything here that they deem offensive, then hopefully they would tell me right away so I can know about it and stop it. However, if I continue to post on the Jazz site, then I think I'll leave it up to their moderators and administrators in booting me off.

The bottom line is that you need to lighten up and not take yourself so seriously. As I said earlier, I think you have been following your sig for too long.

    Wow, were to begin...

•The original post was true for ezboard sites. We started in the middle of May this year. After Sportstalk and Rivals went down.

•If you are registered at any ezboard, with a global membership, you are registered at the Jazz board. :)

•I registered here in '99. (as not_me or notme, do not remember my original name) so I knew when you came on, where you were from. (Read the thread, I even said so).

•There is only one big board for Houston, and this is it. I have had it listed as the Rockets forum since the my original site began.

    http://jazzhoops.com/special2.htm

•Your right, this is a great site. (and I don't kiss it).

•Sorry you don't like the graphics, as long as the board loads fast, I say why not?

•May you win every game this year, except four. :)

•oh, and we do have edit options. just look.

•Your welcome anytime, just remember, no team has a lock on smart fans.

BTW, counting yesterdays post count, from all your forums, you beat us by 5 posts. :)

Do you really think this is a secret? On most of the forums that I visit, Mavtalk, Lakersground, Bleachermob, Hawksquak etc. everyone knows about this site.

The thread that was originally replied to on the Jazz site., was done, after you had lost Taylor. A lot of people felt that your team would not go anywhere, after Golden State picked up the option on Jackson, and his loss.

Without a inside presence (other than Willes, who is a good backup), may thought you were venerable.

I congratulate your team, they seem to have overcome the losses.

The reply about the draft was directed towards Sampson/Olijuwan, (I even said so) Guess that was missed. (it was a joke, btw)

One more thing, we have two Cato's, Ostertag and Amaechi.

Ok, I'll leave now. Good luck.

    Welcome aboard, Notty.

As I said earlier and Notty reinforced it, it's not like clutchcity is some kind of forbidden city that only the clutchcity people can find.

We should look at it like this: this is such a great website (the best IMO) that we shouldn't be surprised that more fans from other teams are coming here.

In reply to my earlier remark.... I have no problem with jazz fans or any other teams fans in general, but I would not suggest making them mad and then having a bunch of them over here.. fans of any team are ok.. but mad fans might not be such a great thing..
