Pig, will grab more rebounds in two games than Mo will in five games. I'm so glad that he is back. He definitely provides the needed muscle and hustle that Houston is lacking. I wouldn't ever want him starting full time, but I love Pig coming off the bench. He's sort of like a Mobley offensive sparkplug -- sort of a hustle sparkplug. Calling people rude names doesn't fall into the category of arguing an opinion. Especially when it is in reference to the person most responsible for bring the city of Houston the only two championships of anything. Also, to say that a guy who couldn't even make the Atlanta Hawks roster is better than one of the greatest centers of all time, even at the end of his career, is laughable. ------------------
Personally, I'd like to see the Rockets keep Pig this time & release Los. While Los brings a lot of energy, athleticism, & production to the team, he gets injured way too often. Just when the team chemistry starts to come together, he goes down. Pig may not have the same abilities as Los, but he does put up consistent, solid numbers. The advantage that he has over Los is he doesn't break. He's a hustler that doesn't complain about having to do the dirty work & not receiving any of the glory. I don't mean to be dogging Los, but I'd rather have someone that I know is going to be there every night. I think Pig is the perfect team player. HeyPartner, Do you feel that Pig will be able to mesh with the new offensive scheme? Maybe you can give me some ideas as to how the Rockets will use him. Moochie, Who are you, Scottie "pipsqueak" Pippen? There's no problem with voiceing your concerns about Dream's comments, but get your facts straight. It's 16 million & if Dream is not loyal to this city after playing his entire college & pro career here, then what do you consider to be loyalty? He's EARNED the right to vent every once in awhile. After all, even Jordan vented about Chicago's organization from time to time. Do you consider Jordan to be a jerk? Dream's got pride & still has more ability than most of the centers in the NBA today. Also, coming in here & calling Dream a jerk is a great way to bring down the wrath of all loyal Rocket's fans.
