I dont believe you started this thread with good intentions, but whatever. If Rockets win tomorrow I will be a believer in the reverse jinx.
What a bunch of crap. Trade? Who cares. How long before McHale gets them playing like a team again? Not long. End of season collapse? Did you follow the Rockets last season? Did you not see 2 starting guards decimated by injuries? All the Rockets decent players who were fit to play exhausted by the injury weakened roster. Get a grip on reality people.
I stated in game thread that if Rox lost tonight against the T-Wolves that they would collapse to close out season. I'm glad they took care of business. They are playing with fire coming out so flat though, they have got to do better in that area.
Morey does not know how to make the playoffs. Trading away 2 PF in the midst of playoff push. It would not surprise me to see Rockets fail to miss playoff as long as Morey is GM.
At home, with a chance to get the 6th seed and we're getting blown out. I can't imagine what it'll be like in the playoffs. I can't name a single player that has played well today.
We should be on a long losing streak the way we're playing and I don't know why people in the media and on the team are talking about it. We haven't played well for weeks!!
I don't care if they lose this game, you're right its difficult to sweep. What is extremely concerning is the terrible offense we have seen from every game since the trade besides the crazy 3rd and 4th qrtr against Dallas. They keep playing like this which is really ...really...alarming. If the offense is good and they are playing their style and they lose its no big deal really. Its the way that they are playing.
James Harden and Chandlar Parsons the reason why, and Lin on a couple as well. But overall the offense is terrible. It might actually rival the JVG offense we saw.
I remember commenting about the truly terrible offense BEFORE THE TRADE. Rockets won after having a stagnant offense, The Beard had to pull out yet another improbable miracle win. This isn't new; this offense isn't a result of trading two rotation players; Rockets have had this problem for a while. After expressing my concern about the offense after a win, I was told to enjoy life more...
