You should be reprimanded for making such a silly remark regarding Luther Head. Luther Head was only drafted because in college he made a few 3's, he NEVER showed any potential to do anything other than shoot while he played for the rockets. He was a very streaky shooter, bad defense, bad ball handling, and didn't rebound at all (even for a guard). We are much better off with James White or Brent Barry.....you're right about Brian Cook though

As much as you guys are hating on luther makes me think that you dont remember anything about his playing days with us. He can out of college ready to play ball. He stepped in and basically was our 6th man his rookie year. He came in and averaged like 8-9 ppg his first year, and stroked from downtown. He developed into a very good off the ball cutter. And does everyone forget how clutch he was!?!?!?!? i remember many times when he took the final shot in the game although we had a great closer (TMac) right beside him. If there is one thing we are going to need this year while tmac is out, it is a closer. No one on this team has the confidence or the ability to take and can a final shot. Bring luther and cut your loses with either cook or barry. We need a CLOSER!!

A closer actually makes wide open shots in the playoffs, something Luther struggled mightily to do.

Good cutter, good shooter, decent quickness...and an absolute disaster anytime he actually has to dribble the ball. Possibly one of the worst decision makers with the ball that I have ever seen. Everytime the guy started dribbling, I would just wait for the turnover

    No true at all.

I think I remember reading one of Clutch's post that said something to the extent: Rockets were very surprised at pre-draft workout with Luther's incredible athleticism.

He still has potential to become more than a shooter. He was a decent defender (when guarding point guards).

Cook is dead weight unless he gets into shape to play decent defense. I hope he gets cut in favor of Budinger prior to camp. Actually, either Cook or James White have to go...I say bye bye to the Cookie monster!

He does have a sweet shot though.
