Seems like they picked the wrong Marvel director if they wanted to do more serious world building. The Russo brothers are most responsible for the best of the Marvel team up movies (Civil War, Infinity War, Endgame). I'd actually say them leaving the MCU has led to some of the letdown.

Jesse Eisenberg was easily the worst followed by Ezra Miller

Yeah, Snyder stans sure love his vision as an artiste and whatever flowery bullshit heaped upon him, but he's been driving that flaming clown car into the ditch during Marvels 10 yr run of dominance up until the end where Warner execs gave him a mercy kill and became the Bad Guy of the bunch.

The Cavil difficult to work has been reported for years. The term used is that he's kind of a diva backstage. But people put up with it, because the finished product can still be good (ex Mission Impossible role).

The problem with being difficult to work with is that these actors don't stay with franchises too long.

    Some tea:

    1. The Warhammer project was attached to Cavil while he was still Superman (before he lost the DC renewal). The project hasn't been off the ground (no director...etc). Normally a project this early isn't released publicly, because studio can decide to not green lit. In Cavil's case, it was a publicity move to show he's still in demand (not unemployed).

    2. Him leaving the Witcher burned a bridge with Netflix. Die hard Witcher fans didn't like the show deviating from source material, Cavil held same opinion. Still; acting is a job. He wasn't hired as the show creator. It's about being a professional.

The series might not survive with Hemsworth.. it's a lose-lose for both sides. Netflix likely also phase Cavil out on other areas. The Enola Holmes series, Cavil cameo as Sherlock, probably less likely in S3.

    3. Supposedly, Cavil fired agent Dany Garcia (Rock's ex wife).

    ----
Cavil is a real life giga Chad in terms of looks, physique, and wealth. He also has a reputation for being very nice to his fans, but for some reason not the same to his coworkers and show runners.
