Great DMB songs.... Best of What's around Ants Marching Warehouse So much to say Two Step #41--> Say Goodbye (track #6 on that cd) Lie in our graves The Stone Crush Stay Space Between Everyday Obviously, there are more that are cool, but this would be my "good start."
Dammit, I wish I could...if anyone has any extra tickets to the San Antonio show, I'll be happy to buy one.
DMB has been around for over 10 years. They've been "Popular" since about 96, but only recently (past 4 years) have become REALLY well-known mega-stars. And when the luster fades and they're not mega-stars any more, the band will still be popular.
Actually, they broke out around '94 (same year as Hootie) with Under the Table and Dreaming, but I guess Crash was the one that really catapulted them. However, when was the last time Hootie had a violinist and saxaphonist in their band?? When was the last time Hootie was one of the biggest grossing tours every summer??
yeah!! what he said!! this band will be touring when I'm 50! I'm 28 today! They are my generation's Grateful Dead.

You Never Know Captain Raven Grace is Gone Kit Kat Jam Digging a Ditch Big Eyed Fish Bartender That leaves out: JTR Monkey Man Sweet Up and Down It's too bad those are the missing songs -- SU+D is one of my favorites!
Anybody else go to the concert last night? That was seriously badass. Verizon Amphitheater in San Antonio's a pretty nice place to watch the concert, except for the $6.50 beers. Dave started out with songs like "So Much to Say" and "I Did It." Played alot of really mellow and slow stuff, with some up beat stuff instead. The crowd went wild during "Crush" and "Ants Marching." My girlfriend was a little bit disappointed that Dave didn't play "Crash Into Me." Still, one of the best live performances I've ever seen. For those of y'all going in Houston this weekend, you'll definitely get your money's worth.
July 16, Max. Baqui...I was there, and it was awesome...the two new songs were outstanding, and I think he played one because of me. The two shows I went to last year, I took a sign with a drawing of a Big Eyed Fish (I was close enough for him to see), and even got a chant going between songs "BIG EYED FISH, BIG EYED FISH". Luckily, I heard it in Selma last year. However, out of habit I guess, on Thursday between every song, I yelled the same thing at every lull between the songs. Finally, I decided to yell "DON'T BURN THE PIG, DAVE" (In reference to Pig, my favorite DMB song ever, one I've never heard live) at a moment when the crowd was unbelievably quiet. Sure enough, that's what they played next. Everyone around us who knew what I was screaming went nuts!!! I'll always tell that story like Dave heard me. Vengeance, I'm pumped that Big Eyed Fish is on there, but honestly, I'm surprised that Sweet Up and Down isn't. The two new songs are great.
