I would have to agree to MoBalls, I went to tahiti for my honeymoon and it was fantastic but expensive. We actually went to bora bora and morrea. The draw back is the long flight to tahiti and the price of thing but besides that it was amazing. Our bungalow was in the water and the coffee table was glass that you could see the fish underneath the water is crystal clear. We got great massages, the food was fantastic, the people are really nice, and did i mention how beautiful it was. If you want more in for information i can direct to the website that we used and had zero problems.

Thailand is also awesome and everything is so cheap there and you get really pampered. My wife and I go there every year.

All I can say is 6 dollar hour long foot massages. Now that is luxury.

U.S. Virgin Islands. No passport needed. Once you are there you can boat over to the B.V.I.s

Some combination of 5,6 and 7. We would love to hike, etc and be active, but I also love culture, seeing the sites. If we were getting married in the summer, for example, it'd probably be ano-brainer that we'd go check out Alaska. I've always wanted to do that.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any websites to visit if you've got them. A lot of the "planned" trips I'm looking at are on

    www.farandwide.com

They seem to have a good selection.

For a honeymoon, this could be great - as long as you don't need to be too active with regards to excursions etc. On the Maldives, you can do a lot of snorkeling etc., but not that much else. There is a Hilton Resort on Rangali Island (I haven't been there) which is one of the most unique hotels in the world - they have some so-called "Water Villas" which are built directly on the water and very luxurious - if money is not an issue, these could be interesting (about $ 750 per night, though :D).

The other island that might be even more beautiful are the Seychelles. I have not been there, but Prempeh (that lucky "%"%" ;)) lives there - if he ever comes back online, he might be able to give you some more info.

Also, there was recently a thread about a vacation at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. I have an award reservation there, but am thinking about changing it to the Hilton Hawaiian Village because I might be going alone and there are a lot of honeymooners in the Waikoloa Village.

Their private lagoon sure looks nice, though!
