    I adopted this dog a few months ago. Original owners told me it was a mix but they only knew one half; King Charles Spaniel. I've been trying to figure out the other mix, and I was leading towards like a Golden Retriever or something. Anyone else have any idea what the other mix could be?

    Looks sorta like either a lab or a golden retriever.

    Couple things here;

    1. Lab mix. Those ears and coat color are pretty indicative.
    2. Your puppy is already the size of a King Charles Spaniel. I'm not seeing the Spaniel contribution at all. Maybe the muzzel?

    It's impossible to tell. Even as an adult, a guess is as good you can get. Anyone claiming otherwise is full of it.

    I have two mixed breed dogs that people are sure are "this" and "that" and they are dead wrong every single time. I even have people argue with me after I present them pictures of the sire and dam of one of the dogs.

    I was going to say half lab and half cocker spaniel before I even read your description.
