Hey Guys, Traveling alot and my daughter (3 yrs old) wants to see and talk to me while on the road. I am not sure of the different types of web cameras but wanted to get some feedback on what to look for while shopping. I would prefer to stay around $100. Hope you can help!
you can get one much cheaper than $100. you can get a decent webcam for around $40, even less if you wait for a hot deal with rebates.
I do this all the time, just use MS Messanger and it works great. Also Skype, which is a FREE internet phone service if you are both a member of Skype. DD
I've connected my regular video camera and used it as web cam before. You might even be able to use your regular digital camera in video mode. Skype can detect the settings for you.
you can get a decent one for between 20-40 bucks, depending on rebates and price matches, etc. skype is a great service by the way, so id suggest that as well
