Rockets play @denver on 3/18 , @GSW on 3/31, @phx on 4/2, @Sac 4/9 just in case your plans change and you can't come to Houston, you could still see the Rockets on the road. Based on your initial post I would recommend not spending much time in San Fran and going up to Napa/Sonoma if you are into wine at all (hit Muir Woods on the way). The redwoods are also about 5 hr northwest and I've heard good things. I probably like cities more than you do but I don't think I'll ever go back to SF on purpose...much too congested for my liking. Don't try driving if you are there unless you want to pull your hair out...just take public transport or uber.
